摘要: This application describes a novel approach of wireless charging or powering of a sensor-based device used for in vivo diagnosis and monitoring. In addition to implantable or subcutaneous devices, this approach can also be used for wireless charging of wearable and handheld devices. Specifically, this application describes charging of diagnostic and monitoring devices used for disease detection and management. More specifically, this application describes a method to wirelessly power integrated devices designed to detect or monitor analytes (e.g. biological or chemical species) and release drugs into the body in response to a specific change in the body's vitals, detected by the device.

摘要: Aspects of the present disclosure provide measurement devices and methods for detecting electrical characteristics of devices under test (DUTs), such as semiconductor nanowires. Techniques described herein provide programmable measurement devices that may be implemented in a compact form factor while being able to perform reliable measurements. In some embodiments, measurement devices described herein may be programmed to modulate signals for transmitting to a DUT, and may demodulate signals from the DUTs adaptively using self-programming techniques described herein. Such self-programming may include applying a programmable phase delay to oscillator signals used during demodulation. In some embodiments, such measurement devices may be implemented on a single circuit board, in a single integrated circuit package, or even on a single solid-state semiconductor die. Techniques described herein may enable reliable, inexpensive, and small-scale fluid sample measurement devices.

摘要: The techniques relate to methods and apparatus for sealed fluid chambers. The device includes a sensor chip comprising a set of sensor elements configured to sense an analyte, and the set of sensor elements comprise an associated set of electrodes extending along the surface of the substrate. The device includes a fluid chamber comprising an edge proximate to the surface of the substrate, the fluid chamber comprising an inner portion in fluid communication with the set of sensor elements, wherein at least one electrodes extends from the inner portion of the chamber across the edge of the chamber and outside of the fluid chamber. The device includes a sealing member between the edge of the fluid chamber and the surface of the substrate such that the sealing member is disposed over at least a portion of the electrode that extends across the edge of the fluid chamber.
