摘要: A smart energy center for a vehicle is provided. The smart energy center includes a buck convertor configured to provide power to a first load that has a substantially constant resistance level and a boost converter configured to provide power to a second load that requires a minimum voltage level and substantially constant power level. The smart energy center also includes a buck-boost converter configured to provide power to a third load that requires a voltage level within a threshold range and an electronic fuse configured to provide power to a fourth load. The smart energy center further includes a controller configured to operate the buck convertor, the boost converter, the buck-boost converter, and the electronic fuse.

摘要: An energy storage system includes a plurality of batteries coupled in series, a plurality of first isolated DC-DC power converters each having first and second sides, a DC bus coupled to the second sides of the plurality of first isolated DC-DC power converters, and a second isolated DC-DC power converter coupled in parallel with the plurality of first isolated DC-DC power converters. Each of the first sides of the plurality of first isolated DC-DC power converters is coupled to at least one of the batteries. The second isolated DC-DC power converter includes a first side coupled to the plurality of batteries and a second side coupled to the DC bus. The second isolated DC-DC power converter is configured to mitigate a transient load condition on the DC bus.

摘要: A system in a vehicle includes memory to store values obtained for a battery that supplies current to one or more loads. The values include battery state of charge. A processor obtains a measured battery current from a battery current sensor and a measured total current from a current sensor at a battery center that supplies the current directly to the one or more loads, obtain a generator current or a direct current-to-direct current (DC-DC) converter current from the measured total current and the battery current, determine a maximum available current as a sum of a maximum available battery current and either the generator current or the DC-DC converter current, and stop a supply of the current to one or more of the one or more loads based on a result of a comparison of the maximum available current with current draw by the one or more loads.

摘要: A system in a vehicle includes a first fuse connected between a power source and a load. The first fuse is an electronic fuse (eFuse) to disconnect the load from the power source via the first fuse based on opening a first fuse switch. The system also includes a second fuse connected between the power source and the load via a second fuse switch. The first fuse and the second fuse are part of a cluster of fuses. A controller opens the first fuse switch and keeps the second fuse switch closed based on the vehicle entering a key-off mode in which the vehicle is turned off.

A DC to DC converter may include a multi-input DC input stage coupled to a multi-output DC output stage. The multi-input DC input stage may include multiple distributed DC inputs, each distributed DC input being coupled to a respective one of the plurality of batteries. The multi-output DC output stage may include multiple aggregated DC outputs. At least one controllable switch may couple one or more of the multiple aggregated DC outputs to one or more other DC buses.

The method further includes training the model based at least in part on the operational data to predict a failure associated with the electrical load or a wiring harness associated with the electrical load.
