摘要: A dual layered magnetic card with an apparatus for reading data therefrom and recording data thereon. The magnetic card includes (a) a card body, (b) a first magnetic layer disposed on the card body, the first magnetic layer including a first magnetic material, (c) a second magnetic layer disposed on the first magnetic layer, the second magnetic layer including a second magnetic material having Curie temperature lower than that of the first magnetic material and a coercive force at an ambient temperature higher than that of the first magnetic material. Also disclosed is an apparatus for reading data on the magnetic card, having a reader, post processor and data eraser, and an apparatus for reading and recording data having a recorder, reader, post processor and a data eraser.

摘要: An electromagnetic coordinate selection device comprising a plurality of electromagnetically operated cross point switches arranged in a matrix form and a plurality of magnetic cores disposed at points corresponding to said cross point switches for operation thereof, with any desired cross point switch closed only when the first and second coils wound about the magnetic cores are additively excited wherein the magnetic cores are each of the composite type to stabilize the operation of the cross point switches and the cross point switches are collectively sealed in a single container or in groups in a plurality of vessels provided in a number equal to or smaller than the number of the conductors arranged in the direction of the row or column of said matrix.

摘要: A fluid composition for use in a viscous coupling is provided, which comprises (A) a base oil made of a polyorganosiloxane fluid having a viscosity of from about 500 to about 500,000 centistokes at 25.degree. C., and (B) at least one component selected from the group consisting of sulfur and sulfur compounds (b) to (g) listed below being added in a minor amount to said base oil;(b) a hydrocarbon sulfide;(c) a sulfurized oil or fat which is the reaction product of an oil or fat and sulfur;(d) a zinc dithiophosphate;(e) a dialkyldithiocarbamic acid metal salt;(f) elemental sulfur; and(g) a cyclic hydrocarbon sulfide.This fluid composition can be stably used in a viscous coupling for an extended period.

摘要: A flexible magnetic diskette used for magnetically storing various information which is recorded and read by a magnetic head. The diskette includes a flexible plastic disk sheet uniformly coated with magnetic material and having a mount hole at its center, and a holder for securing the disk sheet over the periphery of the mount hole. The holder is also made of a plastic material for holding the flexible disk sheet over the peripheral portion of the mount hole via a double-sided adhesive ring. A core member is made of a magnetic metal having a high abrasive resistance and rigidly attached to the holder over at least a part of a surface of the holder, with which a drive unit is engaged.

摘要: An electromagnetic matrix switch device, suitable for use in an automatic exchange or computer, comprising a two-dimensional array of cross-point elements, each of which comprises a magnetically actuated switch adapted to bridge its associated pair of row and column signal lines and a magnetic core positioned in magnetically-coupled relationship to the switch to actuate it in response to a current pulse applied to its associated pair of row and column control lines. Each magnetic core has provided therearound first and second windings connected to its associated row control line and third and fourth windings connected to its associated column control line, the polarity of those windings being such that application of the current pulse to the row and column control lines will cause the first and fourth windings to produce magnetic fields in a direction opposite to those produced by the second and third windings. Provision is made for short-circuiting the second and third windings of each magnetic core simultaneously with the application of the current pulse to a selected pair of the control lines, whereby only the magnetic core located at the intersection of the selected pair of the control lines produces a magnetic field sufficient to actuate its associated switch.

摘要: The present invention provides a method of regenerating an oil adsorbent, wherein an oil adsorbent even if containing a large amount of oil can be regenerated without taking it out from the facility. The method of regenerating an oil adsorbent comprises washing a carbonaceous oil adsorbent made from calcined coke, with oil adsorbed thereon, with warm water of 40° C. or higher or gas-bubbled warm water of 40° C. or higher.
