摘要： Silicone oil-in-water emulsions containing a polysiloxane containing polymer is prepared by first preparing a polysiloxane containing polymer by the polymerization of siloxane containing monomers and/or oligomers in the presence of an inert organopoly siloxane and/or an organic fluid, a suitable catalyst and optionally an end-blocking agent; and quenching the reaction if required. If required one or more surfactants may be introduced into the polysiloxane containing polymer to form a homogenous oil phase. Water is then added (in an amount of 0.1-10 percent by weight based on total oil phase weight) to the homogenous oil phase to form a water-in-oil emulsion. Shear is applied to the water-in-oil emulsion to cause inversion of the water-in-oil emulsion to an oil-in-water emulsion. Finally, if required the oil-in-water emulsion can be diluted by adding more water.

The composition exhibits excellent heat resistance and reduced oil bleeding.

摘要： An endoscope which has small bending resistance and is hard to be damaged or broken even when it is repeatedly used is disclosed. The endoscope includes a flexible insertion section 2 and an operation section 7 provided on the proximal end of the insertion section 2. The insertion section 2 has a sheath constructed from an outer layer 382 and the like, and elongated members such as an image guide 31 and light guides 32, 32 and the like are housed in lumens in the sheath. Further, each light guide 32 has an optical fiber bundle and a protective sheath 321 for protecting the optical fiber bundle. In the interior space of the protective sheath 321, a lubricant 5 containing a silicone oil and a solid lubricant is provided. The solid lubricant contains at least one of boron nitride, poly tetrafluoroethylene, and molybdenum disulfide. The solid lubricant is preferably formed into powder having an average grain size of 0.1 to 15 μm. By providing the lubricant 5 in the interior space of the lumen, bending resistance of the insertion section is reduced so that damage, breakage, or the like is hard to occur in the elongated members.

摘要： The invention relates to compositions comprising an ester of a polyol and a mixture of fatty acids, wherein at least a part (I) the esterified fatty acids has a chain length of 5-12 carbon atoms and another part (II) of the esterified fatty acids has a chain length of 16-22 carbon atoms, and wherein the composition has a viscosity of 7000 mm2/s or less, when tested according to ASTM (D2531). Such compositions have unexpected good low temperature properties, in particular a good rheology after having been kept for a prolonged time at a low temperature (e.g. at −30° C.). These compositions are suitable for use as (part of) hydraulic fluid in applications at low temperatures.

摘要： The invention relates to multiphase lubricant concentrates with improved properties for use in aqueous fluids for geological exploration by drilling which contain organic lubricating components which are solid and/or liquid at room temperature (O phase) together with emulsifiers finely dispersed in a continuous aqueous phase (W phase). These concentrates are characterized in that the system of O phase/W phase and emulsifiers has a phase inversion temperature (PIT) above room temperature and has been produced by heating the multiphase system to temperatures equal to or above the PIT and subsequent cooling to temperatures below the PIT. The present invention also relates to the use of the multiphase lubricant concentrates as an additive in water-based fluids for use in geological exploration by drilling and for the subsequent treatment of the resulting boreholes.

The spraying heads include at least one outlet opening having an inner diameter between approximately 0.1 mm and 1 mm.

摘要： A refrigerator oil, particularly a refrigerator oil for a hydrofluorocarbon refrigerant, comprising a base oil composed of an oxygen-containing organic compound, such as a polyalkylene glycol and polyester, and a fluorinated silicone oil having a kinematic viscosity of 500 mm.sup.2 /sec or more at 25.degree. C. is disclosed. A process for lubrication of a refigeration system comprising lubricating a compression-type refrigeration system by using the refrigerator oil is also disclosed.By using the refrigerator oil, the foaming phenomenon during boiling of the refrigerant dissolved in the refrigerator oil can effectively be suppressed.
