    摘要： Tensio-active cyclic polyethers of the general formula: ##STR1## where A refers to a hydrophile block chosen from the amine, ammonium, ammonio alkyl carboxylate, ammonio alkyl sulfonate, amide, sulfonamide, ether, thioether, hydroxyl, ester and acid groupings.These polyethers may be prepared (1) by reaction of alcohol or of undecylenic acid with thioacetic acid, (2) saponification with an alkaline base, (3) reaction of the product obtained in (2) with the tetramer of epichlorohydrin or of epibromohydrin, (4) reaction of mesylate or tosylate of the compound obtained in (3) either (a) with dimethylamine or methylethanolamine, the resulting compound being able to be salified or alkylated, or (b) with the mercapto ethanol or mercapto glycerol; the compounds thereby obtained being then able to be submitted to reactions of polyaddition of ethylene oxide and/or of glycidol oxide.These tensio-active cyclic polyethers are suitable for use in the cosmetic, textile, insecticide and similar industries.

    摘要： Composition suitable for treating the hair or skin, which conains at least one poly-(quaternary ammonium) polymer having units of the formula: ##STR1## in which A denotes an alkylene, hydroxyalkylene, alkenylene or alkynylene radical;B denotes:(a) --O--Z--O-- in which Z denotes a hydrocarbon radical or a group ##STR2## in which x and 4 denote a number from 1 to 4; (b) a bis-secondary diamine radical;(c) a radical --NH--Y--NH-- in which Y denotes a hydrocarbon radical or the radical --CH.sub.2 --CH.sub.2 --S--S--CH.sub.2 --CH.sub.2 --; or(d) a group --NH--CO--NH--;R.sub.1 denotes C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 alkyl; R.sub.2 denotes a hydrocarbon radical or two R.sub.2 radicals can complete a radical ##STR3## X denotes a halide; and n is 1 or an integer from 3 to 10. The polymers used in the composition of the invention have a good compatibility with anionic surface-active agents, are degradable and do not accumulate on the hair.

    摘要： A polyanionic polyamide salt which comprises chain units of the formula: ##STR1## in which X denotes ##STR2## R being an aliphatic radical containing 1 to 4 carbon atoms, each Y independently denotes a divalent aliphatic or cycloaliphatic radical, Z denotes a divalent radical of the formula: ##STR3## and M.sup.+ denotes a sodium or potassium ion or a quaternary ammonium ion of the formula: ##STR4## in which each of R.sub.1, R.sub.2, R.sub.3 and R.sub.4 independently denotes a hydrogen atom or a methyl, ethyl, hydroxymethyl, hydroxyethyl, hydroxypropyl, methylhydroxypropyl or methyl-dihydroxypropyl radical, the viscosity of a 5% by weight aqueous solution of the salt being from 1 to 500 centipoises at a temperature of 25.degree. C., are provided which act as deodorants and deodorisers.
