    摘要: Flameproofed thermoplastic molding materials contain(A) 40-99% by weight of a partly aromatic amide copolymer consisting essentially of(a.sub.1) 40-50% by weight of units derived from terephthalic acid and hexamethylenediamine,(a.sub.2) 0-50% by weight of units derived from .epsilon.-caprolactam and(a.sub.3) 0-60% by weight of units derived from adipic acid and hexamethylenediamine,components (a.sub.2) and/or (a.sub.3) accounting altogether for not less than 10% by weight of the total number of units,(B) 1-30% by weight of a flameproofing combination of(b.sub.1) 40-97% by weight of red phosphorus,(b.sub.2) 1-50% by weight of an inorganic compound of a divalent or tetravalent metal,(b.sub.3) 1-40% by weight of an organic mono- or dicarboxylic acid and(b.sub.4) 1-40% by weight of an ester of an organic carboxylic acid of 6 to 24 carbon atoms with an alcohol of 2 to 24 carbon atoms or of a metal salt of such an acid, or a mixture of these,(C) 0-60% by weight of fibrous or particulate fillers or a mixture of these, and(D) 0-40% by weight of a polymeric impact modifier.

    摘要: Caprolactam and oligomers thereof are removed from nylon granules containing same in a process wherein(a) nylon granules are introduced at not less than 100.degree. C. at the top of a substantially upright treatment zone,(b) nylon granules are passed downward through the treatment zone while being heated to from 130.degree. to 210.degree. C.,(c) superheated steam is passed at from 130.degree. to 210.degree. C. upward through the treatment zone,(d) dry nylon granules are withdrawn at the bottom end of the treatment zone and steam containing caprolactam and oligomers thereof is withdrawn at the top of the treatment zone,(e) the caprolactam and oligomers thereof containing steam thus obtained is passed through a column giving an aqueous solution of caprolactam and oligomers thereof as bottom product and virtually caprolactam-free steam as overhead product.

    摘要: Copolyamides are prepared by a continuous process in which(a) an aqueous solution of salts of equimolar amounts of diamines and dicarboxylic acids is passed, under superatmospheric pressure and with simultaneous evaporation of water, through a tubular precondensation zone with formation of a vapor phase and a prepolymer at above the melting point of the prepolymer,(b) the vapor phase is separated from the prepolymer melt,(c) the vapor phase is separated in a column into steam and an aqueous diamine solution, and the aqueous solution containing diamines is recycled to the polymerization,(d) the prepolymer melt is mixed with molten caprolactam at polyamide-forming temperatures, and(e) the mixture of prepolymer and caprolactam is passed downward through a vertical polymerization tube at polyamide-forming temperatures and a copolyamide is obtained.

    摘要: A process for continuous extraction of polyamide particles in an essentially vertical extraction column using an aqueous extractant comprises using an extraction column that is divided into two zones and performing an extraction with a recirculating 15-40% strength by weight aqueous &egr;-caprolactam solution in the first zone and then with countercurrent water at a from 5 to 40° C. lower temperature in the second zone. The process provides for economical extraction of polyamides with a low level of monomers and oligomers.

    摘要: A process for the continuous production of polyamides from a mixture of at least one lactam and water and, if required, other monomer units and/or conventional additives and fillers under polyamide-forming conditions, where the mixture of the starting materials is heated in liquid phase in a first reaction zone until a conversion of at least 70% is reached, and undergoes adiabatic decompression and further polymerization in another reaction zone, wherein, in the first reaction zone, 0.5-7% by weight of water are employed, the temperature is increased to the range from 220.degree. to 310.degree. C., and polymerization is carried out until a conversion of at least 85% is reached and, in the second reaction zone, after the decompression further polymerization is carried out in the range from 215.degree. to 300.degree. C. without heat input.

    摘要: Linear high molecular weight polyamides containing a regulated level of amino and carboxyl end groups are prepared in a continuous process by reacting polyamides in the melt with polyamide-forming diamines or dicarboxylic acids by continuous mixing for a residence time of .ltoreq.10 minutes, granulating the polyamide, and further condensing the polyamide granules thus obtained in solid phase in the presence of inert gases until the viscosity has reached the desired level.
