摘要: A system for making a remittance between persons and making payments offline, and for securely being able to conduct these transactions is disclosed. A participant terminal stores verified TX information to which is added a verified TX object, which represents a transaction (TX) and has been verified by a verifier. Each participant terminal stores unverified TX information to which is added an unverified TX object, which represents a TX and has not been verified by a verifier. When a TX arises between a first participant and a second participant, the first participant terminal and the second participant terminal mutually retain the same unverified TX object group including the unverified TX object of that TX. When the first participant terminal is online, verification of the unverified TX object is requested, and, when the verification is successful, that object is added to the verified TX information as a verified TX object.

摘要: The management computer includes a memory and a processor. The processor recognizes a state of a storage system that provides a first volume as a logical volume that stores a first image of an object. The processor generates a second volume as a virtual logical volume that stores a second image of the object. The processor selects, based on the state, one generation processing from a plurality of generation processing including: first generation processing of associating the second volume with the first image and differential data from the first image to provide the second volume; and second generation processing of generating the second volume as a logical volume and copying the first image to the second volume to provide the second volume. The processor transmits an instruction to execute the selected generation processing to the storage system.

摘要: A method of managing use of resources in data center comprises: determining whether first storage subsystem includes a virtual volume or a storage pool that uses a physical volume of second storage subsystem and, if yes, migrating the physical volume to first storage subsystem; determining whether any storage subsystem includes a virtual volume created directly from a physical volume and, if yes, migrating the virtual volume to another virtual volume provisioned from the storage pool of the storage subsystem; and determining whether all virtual volumes satisfy a preset service level objective and, if no, then selecting a virtual machine which has a smallest virtual machine disk file and selecting a storage pool having a largest free space, and then selecting a virtual volume of the storage subsystem which has the selected storage pool and migrating the virtual machine disk file of the selected virtual machine to the selected virtual volume.

摘要: A storage apparatus coupled to a host device comprises a virtual volume which is a virtual logical volume configured of multiple virtual areas and a pool configured of multiple actual area groups of different performances. A controller manages pool status information which is the information showing which actual area is allocated to which virtual area and access load related to the virtual areas. A management system of the storage apparatus, with reference to the pool status information at multiple points of time from past to present and an access load threshold which is equal to or larger than 1, estimates the used capacity of each actual area group at points of time in the future, calculates the installed/removed amount of each actual area group which is the difference between the estimated used capacity and the current storage capacity, and performs the processing based on the calculated result.
