    摘要: A data processor for executing branch prediction comprises a queuing buffer (23) allocated to an instruction queue and to a return destination instruction queue and having address pointers managed for each instruction stream and a control portion (21) for the queuing buffer. The control portion stores a prediction direction instruction stream and a non-prediction direction instruction stream in the queuing buffer and switches an instruction stream as an execution object from the prediction direction instruction stream to the non-prediction direction instruction stream inside the queuing buffer in response to failure of branch prediction. When buffer areas (Qa1, Qb) are used as the instruction queue, the buffer area (Qa2) is used as a return instruction queue and the buffer area (Qa1) is used as a return instruction queue. A return operation of a non-prediction direction instruction string at the time of failure of branch prediction is accomplished by stream management without using fixedly and discretely the instruction queue and the return destination instruction queue.

    摘要: When a bus stop request control unit issues a module-specific bus stop request signal, a bus stop control unit coupled to a bus slave determines a module that serves as a bus master of the bus slave and on which the bus slave is dependent, for example, on the basis of information in a dependence setting register. The bus stop control unit then outputs a prior bus stop request signal to the module on which the bus slave is dependent, so as to stop use of a bus of the module. Upon receipt of a module-specific bus stop completion signal indicating that processing of stop of the bus of the module on which the bus slave is dependent is complete, the bus stop control unit outputs a module-specific bus stop request signal to the module which serves as a bus slave and whose bus is to be stopped.

    摘要: A method and a system are provided for concurrently copying both sides of an original by concurrently scanning nonoverlapping areas of the two sides of the original with two incident beams and scanning adjacent areas of a copy with the resulting reflected beams. Since the two incident beams illuminate areas of the original that are not overlapping, each reflected beam forms only an image of one side of the original, without a faint shadow of the other side of the original. When the original and the copy move in opposite directions and the ratio between their scanning speeds is the same as the ratio between the size of the original and the size of the copy, aligned portions of the opposite sides of the original can be aligned with each other on the copy even though non-aligned areas of the original are scanned by the incident beams.

    摘要: A structure of storing a vehicular seat according to one aspect of the invention is constituted by a seat detachably connected to a support base, and a storing space capable of storing the seat detached from the support base. The seat includes an engaging member is fixed to the support base by engaging an engaging portion provided at the support base. The storing space includes a bottom wall, side walls erected to an upper side from two left and right side edges of the bottom wall, and a depth wall erected from a depth edge of the bottom wall to the upper side, and is constituted to slide to store the seat. The seat includes fixing means at predetermined positions inside of the storing space. The fixing means are formed by shapes to slidingly receive and to fix the engaging member of the seat.

    摘要: Disclosed is an interface apparatus in a communication network for converting a frame, which has been received from a digital transmission line and has overhead and a payload, to ATM cells, assembling a frame using ATM cells that have been received from an ATM network, and sending the assembled frame to a digital transmission line. The apparatus includes cell conversion zone specifying means for defining, as a cell conversion zone, the smallest possible portion of a frame that contains the overhead data and payload, and generating a signal that specifies the cell conversion zone; pointer creation means for creating a pointer which specifies a predetermined position of the cell conversion zone as a reference position; and cell conversion means for converting data in the cell conversion zone into cells based upon the signal that specifies the cell conversion zone, and for inserting this pointer, which indicates the reference position of the cell conversion zone, in a prescribed cell. On the ATM-cell receiving side, the apparatus detects pointers, assembles ATM cells into a frame based upon the pointers and transmits the frame.
