    摘要: The present invention relates to a microwave band-pass filter comprising a plurality of coupled resonators including at least one coaxial resonator (1). For suppression of higher order or spurious pass-bands the filter is characterised in that a central hole (9) extends from the upper end of the inner conductor (6) of said at least one coaxial resonator through at least part of the length of the inner conductor, the central hole (9) forming a wave guide section, the cut-off frequency of which being above the pass-band of the band-pass filter, and in that the wave guide section contains in an upper portion (11) thereof a low loss dielectric material with a dielectric constant sufficiently high so that the cut-off frequency of the wave guide section is below the first higher order response of the band-pass filter, and in that the lower end portion (10) of the central hole (9) contains a lossy material.

    摘要: The present invention relates to a method for determine values for a set of construction parameters of a cavity resonator (1) comprising a housing (2) having a base (3), a sidewall (4) extending upwardly from the base (3) and an upper cover plate (5), and an inner conductor (6) having a width dimension D and extending upwardly from the base (3) along a length L, the housing (2) comprising a first material and the inner conductor (6) comprising a second material different from the first material. These values yield a minimum temperature induced change of resonant frequency f0 in a given temperature range ΔT with respect to the set of construction parameters. To determine the values, the resonant frequency f0 is calculated as a function of temperature and the set of construction parameters. The values of the set of construction parameters are varied, and the calculating step is repeated to derive optimum values for the set of construction parameters from the result of the calculation yielding a minimum temperature induced change of resonant frequency f0 in a given temperature range ΔT with respect to the set of construction parameters. The set of construction parameters includes the width dimension D of the inner conductor (6).

    摘要: The invention relates to a magnetofluid-supported electromagnetic drive for a blood pump for supporting or partially to totally replacing the heart whereby the blood pump in its weight as well as its energy density nearly corresponds to the natural heart and is especially suitable for an implantation whereby a reduction of the total system in comparison with known systems is to be made possible and the efficiency is improved at the same time. This task is solved by the blood pump having a magnetofluid-supported electromagnetic drive consisting of one or several electromagnets and force-transforming facilities and with the space of at least one electromagnetic circuit being completely or partially filled with magnetofluid, whereby the poles show permanent-magnetic properties. Thereby, a magnetofluid with a saturation magnetization of 150 to 450 mT has been used with an initial permeability of 5 to 25.

    摘要: The output of coke ovens is increased if the brick constituting the wall between the flues and the coking chamber has a thermal conductivity matched to the rate at which the coke accepts heat. Magnesite has been found to have appropriate thermal conductivity. This material at the lower end of the coking range, namely 1200.degree. C, is impractical due to the fact that it develops cracks and flakes off. However at the higher end of the desired coking range, namely 1300.degree.-1400.degree. C, these difficulties do not appear, and the use of the material leads to increased output of the furnace. More particularly according to the invention firebrick is used which has a thermal conductivity of 2.0-6.0kcal/mh.degree. C and is composed of 20-45% SiC, 23-57% Al.sub.2 O.sub.3 with the remainder consisting of SiO.sub.2 and traces of other oxides.
