    摘要: Devices are described which are suitable for simultaneous hydraulic expansion of several longitudinal sections of a hollow shaft for the production of connections by interlocking or frictional engagement between said sections and elements fitted thereto such as cams, toothed wheels and bearing seats. The devices include pressure probes with a longitudinal hydraulic fluid channel and a radial inlet bore to each longitudinal section of the hollow shaft to be expanded and, if necessary, with a longitudinal discharge channel and a radial discharge bore to the undeformed longitudinal sections of the hollow shaft between the sections to be expanded. Sealing means are provided which seal the undeformed longitudinal sections of the hollow shaft against penetration of the hydraulic fluid from the intermediate longitudinal sections of the hollow shaft to be expanded. It is possible to fit individual sealing elements and/or expansion sleeves with intermediate spacer sleeves onto the body of a probe of uniform cross-section to permit rapid exchange of worn seals. In addition, the probe body can consist of sections screwed together axially which, when of small cross-section, accept sealing elements and, when of larger cross-section serve as spacer pieces. Examples of novel and improved seal shapes are also given.

    摘要: A device for the simultaneous hydraulic expansion of a plurality of longitudinal portions of a hollow shaft for the production of force-locking and/or positive-locking connections between the latter and elements slid thereon, (such as cams, toothed wheels or bearing seats), in the form of a pressure medium probe. This comprises at least one longitudinally extending feed channel and radial feed bore holes to every longitudinal portion of the hollow shaft to be expanded, which is characterized by a sealing arrangement which seals longitudinal portions of the hollow shaft remaining undeformed against the action of the pressure medium from longitudinal portions of the hollow shaft to be expanded. These lie between them wherein the probe includes a one-piece probe body with annular grooves arranged in a spaced manner, wherein expansion arrangements are received by the grooves and an expansion arrangement includes a one-piece expansion sleeve which covers the entire expansion area; it can be acted upon from the inside by pressure medium along substantial portions of its length and is radial expandable, wherein its surface contacts the inner surface of the hollow shaft during the hydraulic expansion of the hollow shaft.

    摘要: The invention relates to an assembly device for assembling camshafts, comprising a holding device for axially fixing individual elements such as cam discs, bearing seats or gears, including a pressure agent probe for hydraulically expanding a hollow shaft in sections, with the elements and the shaft being connected to each other in a force-locking way.The holding device has been provided with individual fixing discs each having a central aperture for receiving one of the elements such as cam discs, bearing seats or gears as well as an outer bearing seat for being received in a bearing region of the holding device. These fixing discs permit angularly accurate fixing of the individual elements prior to assembly, with the hollow shaft being able to carry out radial movements relative to these.

    摘要: A driveshaft for a motor vehicle has an approximately constant wall thickness and a changing outer diameter which extends analogously to the amplitude of the second basic vibration of the natural bending frequency. In this way it is possible to achieve a distribution of cross-sectional area which is functionally optimized and meets the respective strength requirements. At the same time, torsional stiffness values may be set as required and natural resonance frequency values may be varied. With help of this design it is possible to move the natural resonance frequency of the tubular shaft into a speed range of minimum external excitation energy.

    摘要: A hub member and shaft joint assembly includes an inner joint part of a constant velocity joint and a shaft journal. The hub member has a central through-aperture with inner toothing for receiving the shaft journal, and outer ball tracks. The inner toothing is formed in a predetermined limited length as far as a toothing run-out and is followed by a bore with a reduced diameter. The shaft journal has shaft toothing and, at a distance from the shaft end, a first conical step serving as a top face relative to the toothing run-out and directly contacting same. A larger second conical step is positioned axially spaced from the first step and forms a toothing end of the shaft toothing.
