摘要: A multi-wire oxygen electrode and method of manufacturing the same, said electrode having a reactive electrode surface formed by a glass electrode tip having an end surface and a number of electrode wires are distributed in the end surface of the electrode tip along a circle. The cross-sectional surfaces of said electrode wires are freely exposed in such end surface and the electrode wires are fused in the electrode tip and electrically conductively connected with a cathode wire arranged in a glass sleeve. There is provided a substantially semi-spherical shaped support surface having an apex, said support surface being coaxially arranged with respect to the electrode tip, and said cathode wire being held in the electrode tip at the apex of the support surface. The electrode wires are electrically conductively secured at the cathode wire at the apex of the support surface, each electrode wire being guided through a substantially one-quarter arc over the support surface and then substantially parallel to the longitudinal axis of the electrode tip to its end surface.

摘要: In order to produce a small-volume flow measuring cell with good flow characteristics in a sensor device for determining the concentration of a substrate in a sample medium, comprising an enzyme electrode which is covered by a membrane and a reference electrode, both of which are in contact with the measuring cell, the proposal is put forward that the reference electrode be located outside of the membrane cover of the enzyme electrode and that the maximum extension of the flow measuring cell normal to the flow direction of the sample medium essentially be the same as the diameter of the sensitive layer of the enzyme electrode.

摘要: An electrochemical measuring apparatus may be charged with an option of several media by providing a feeder part with the respective media connections, and by guiding a piece of pipe in a bore, which is sealed off and is movable relative to this feeder part. On its end facing away from a measuring chamber in the apparatus, the piece of pipe has a connection for additional media. Besides, it carries at least one circumferential bore which may be brought to coincide with at least one of the input openings into the bore connecting to the feed lines, by means of a relative motion - preferably controlled via a stepping motor - between the pipe piece and the above bore.

摘要: A transducer for measuring the internal pressure in pipes, preferably injection pipes of diesel engines by determination of pipe deformations, comprises a rigid housing enclosing the pipe in which the pressure is to be measured, and at least one elastic sensor element arranged inside the housing and adjacent to at least a part of the circumference of the pipe. The sensor element and the housing are detachably mounted on the pipe and between the housing and the sensor element there is arranged an endorsing element elastically forcing the sensor element against the pipe whereby deformations of the pipe are transmitted frictionally to the sensor element.

摘要: The invention relates to a power generation apparatus (1), in particular for expanding the range of an electrically operated vehicle, having an internal combustion engine (5) and a generator (6), which is situated coaxially to the output shaft (7) of the internal combustion engine (5), internal combustion engine (5) and generator (6) being situated in a housing (2, 3) through which cooling air flows. In order to increase the power density, minimize the noise emission, and allow a compact construction, it is provided that internal combustion engine (5) and generator (6) are implemented as a unit (10) and are situated in a substantially tubular cooling chamber (4) formed by an inner housing, an intake air duct (8) opening into the cooling chamber (5) on the side of the generator (6), preferably approximately in the area of the output shaft axis (7′), and an exhaust air duct (9) originating from the cooling chamber (4) on the side of the internal combustion engine (5), preferably in the area of the output shaft axis (7′), and the internal combustion engine-generator unit (10) being mounted in the housing (2, 3) via noise-damping engine bearings.

摘要: A device for the sampling of body fluids using a hollow needle (6), is provided with a storage system (3) with several separate sample containers (4) placed on a movable carrier (9). The containers (4) which are sealed by puncturable membranes (5) so as to be gas-tight, will receive collected fractions of the body fluid at given intervals, a device (7) connected to a control unit (2) being provided, by which the hollow needle (6) is positioned over each sample container (4) in turn and is inserted through the membrane (5) into the sample container. The sampling device 1 is configured as a two-channel cannula (18), one (19) of whose channels is connected via a first connecting tube (25) to the hollow needle (6) used for insertion into the sample containers (4), while its other channel (20) is connected via a second connecting tube (26) to a pump (8'; 21) operated by the control unit (2). In their unused state the individual sample containers (4) are filled within an amount of gas or gas mixture whose volume at atmospheric pressure is smaller than that of the body fluid to be received.
