摘要: A fuel injection valve, particularly an injection valve for fuel injection equipment of internal combustion engines, having a pump piston that can be activated using a piezoelectric or magnetostrictive actuator for exerting a translatory pump motion. A spray-discharge nozzle with at least one spray-discharge opening is hydraulically connected via a fuel pressure line to the pump piston. The spray-discharge nozzle opens when the fuel pressure produced by the pump piston in the fuel pressure line exceeds a predetermined threshold. In the fuel pressure line, at least one non-return valve is arranged so that it opens in the direction towards the spray-discharge nozzle and closes in the opposite direction.

摘要: A fuel supply systems with two series-connected pumps and with fuel injection valves that inject fuel directly into a combustion chamber of an engine in which a starting process takes less time because of the small feed quantity of the second fuel pump. The system includes a valve device which assures that during the starting process the first fuel pump furnishes the fuel to the fuel valves at elevated feed pressure. In many cases, this elevated feed pressure suffices to start the engine in the quickest possible time. The apparatus and the method are intended for an internal combustion engine of a vehicle.

摘要: An electrically controlled fuel injection pump for internal combustion engines, in particular for direct fuel injection in engines having externally supplied ignition. A plurality of pump pistons driven by drive cams at a constant stroke and each leading into one cylinder bore, pump the fuel that has been brought to injection pressure in an associated pump work chamber to injection valves. A plurality of pump pistons are positioned side by side, radially of the camshaft. The work chambers of the pump pistons are connectable via a rotary slide valve to lines which lead to the injection valves and optionally to supply lines for supplying fuel to the work chambers of the pump pistons and the rotary slide can be driven in synchronism with the camshaft.

An outlet valve for connecting to an injection nozzle of the engine, and an axially driven pump piston which defines the pump chamber. For the purposes of a simple structural embodiment for reasonably priced manufacture and flexible fuel metering, a stop is provided, which defines the intake stroke of the pump piston and whose relative position to the bottom dead center of the pump piston can be controlled as a function of operating parameters of the engine.

摘要: A fuel injection pump of a distributor type for internal combustion engines including, a pump plunger guided within a pump cylinder, which forms a pump chamber and which is driven to perform reciprocating and rotating motion by a driving gear which is submerged in a lubricating oil bath. The pump plunger has a distribution hole which is in contact with the pump chamber and which sequentially links this chamber, during the compression stroke of the pump plunger, to injection jets. The fuel filling of the pump chamber takes place via a magnetically operated valve, which is open during the intake stroke and closed during the compression stroke of the pump plunger. For an enlargement of the filling cross-section during the intake stroke without an enlargement of the opening of the magnetically operated valve, a relief hole in the pump plunger is used which serves a force balancing during the compression stroke and which during the intake stroke links up with a filling hole which is connected with a membrane reservoir.

摘要: A piston pump for pumping fuel in which a risk of fuel getting into the area of a shaft seal is limited. The fuel pump includes a separation chamber which is provided between a shaft seal and a fuel chamber that contains fuel. Located in the separation chamber is for instance air as a separator means, and the separation chamber communicates with an air inlet of the engine. This assures that fuel cannot get into the area of the shaft seal or escape to the outside. The fuel pump is suitable in particular for internal combustion engines in which the fuel must be delivered at high pressure.

摘要: An electrically controlled fuel injection pump for internal combustion engines, in particular for direct fuel injection in engines having externally supplied ignition contains a plurality of pump pistons driven by a single common cam. The pumping quantity of fuel is delivered by pumping pistons is controlled via a rotary slide valve to the injection nozzles at the injection sites of the engine, wherein the quantity control is effected by an electrically controlled valve. An axial conduit of the rotary slide which discharges into control bores or control grooves distributed over the circumference of the rotary slide and cooperates with the pump work chamber and the pressure lines to the injection sites and is adjoined by at least one further control bore or control groove which communicates with a pressure reservoir. By this means, a preinjection, separate from a main injection, is made possible at the top dead center charge change.

摘要: To reduce the construction expense and the space required for a fuel injection pump for supplying a plurality of cylinders of an engine, in particular an internal combustion engine having externally supplied ignition, a fuel injection pump including a drive shaft with a single common cam drives a plurality of pump plungers. The supply quantity is controlled via a rotary slide and a subsequent common distributor delivers the fuel to the injection nozzles at the injection sites of the engine. The quantity of fuel injected is effected by an electrically controlled valve seated in a relief line that branches off downstream of the rotary slide, which by closure of the relief line determines the injection phase.
