The coating layer for an anti-glare film according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention comprises a binder resin, organic particulates, and inorganic particulates, and differences differences between refractive indexes of the binder resin and the organic particulates and between refractive indexes of the binder resin and inorganic particulates are each 0.3 or less. The coating layer for an anti-glare film according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention can provide an anti-glare film having excellent anti-glare property, distinctness-of-image, and contrast, such that the coating layer can be applied to a display having high resolution, and has excellent scratch resistance in terms of a coating thickness of a thin film, such that it is easy to enlarge a polarizing plate.
