    摘要： The invention relates to amphiphilic compounds of the general formula I ##STR1## which have at least two hydrophilic and at least two hydrophobic groups and are based on carbonic acid derivatives.The spacer A is an aliphatic, cyclic or acyclic or an aromatic di-, oligo- or polycarbonate of the formula II: ##STR2## The amphiphilic compounds according to this invention are mostly surface-active and are suitable as emulsifiers, demulsifiers, detergents, dispersants and hydrotropes for industrial and domestic use, in particular in the fields of metalworking, ore extraction, surface finishing, plastics processing, washing and cleaning, cleaning of hard surfaces, manual dishwashing compositions, cosmetics, medicine and food processing and preparation.

    摘要： A sleigh having an inflatable body which is wedge-shaped at its forward portion and parallel-sided at its rear portion, the body being subdivided into three inflatable compartments by two spaced longitudinally extending interior webs which slant outwardly relative to one another in their downward directions. The forward ends of the upper edges of the webs are slightly higher than their rear ends. The upper surfaces of the two outer compartments bulge upwardly to a greater extent than the upper surface of the center compartment. Guide foils having longitudinally extending grooves are disposed below the three compartments at the rear end of the body, the foils associated with the outer two compartments being displaced inwardly relative to their respective compartment axes in the unloaded condition of the sleigh.

    摘要： In an electromotively adjustable focusing system for a microscope, a rotatable and axially moveable knob controls both the coarse and fine adjustments of the object stage. The knob is mechanically connected to a tacho-generator producing an output voltage responsive to the direction and amount of rotation of the knob. The knob is also mechanically joined to a switch, which is opened or closed by axial movement of the knob in opposite directions. The closing of the switch causes a focus control circuit to provide to the focusing motor a signal that causes coarse (rapid) focusing. When the switch is opened, however, the motor provides fine adjustment of the object stage.
