摘要: An engine cooling system comprises a cooling water circulation circuit interconnecting an engine body and a radiator, a bypass circuit connected to the cooling water circulation circuit to bypass the radiator, an electric-powered water pump disposed in the cooling water circulation circuit adjacent an engine inlet, a flow rate control valve for controlling the flow rate of cooling water flowing through the radiator, an outlet water temperature detector for detecting an engine outlet water temperature in the cooling water circulation circuit, an inlet water temperature detector for detecting an engine inlet water temperature in the cooling water circulation circuit, and a control means for controlling the operation of the water pump in accordance with at least the engine outlet water temperature and controlling the operation of the flow rate control valve in accordance with at least the engine inlet water temperature to thereby properly control the temperature of the cooling water in accordance with the operational condition of the engine.

摘要: A waste heat recovering device for a multi-cylinder internal combustion engine, wherein among a plurality of exhaust pipes extending from cylinders of a multi-cylinder internal combustion engine, a plurality of exhaust pipes unlikely to cause exhaust interference are collected to form one or more collecting pipes. A heat exchanger for recovering heat of exhaust gas is provided in the one or more collecting pipes. Therefore, a waste heat recovering device can be provided, in which the number of heat exchangers is reduced compared to the number of cylinders of the multi-cylinder internal combustion engine to reduce rest periods of the heat exchanger and reduce spaces occupied by the heat exchanger.

摘要: An outer periphery of an output shaft integral with a rotor of an expander of a vane-type operated by a high-pressure vapor is supported at its opposite ends by a static-pressure bearing mounted at one end thereof in a floated state provided by a liquid film of a pressurized liquid-phase fluid supplied from a pressurized liquid-phase fluid feed bore through a pressurized liquid-phase fluid passage, and by a static-pressure bearing mounted at the other end thereof in a floated state provided by a liquid film of a pressurized liquid-phase fluid supplied from a pressurized liquid-phase fluid feed bore through pressurized liquid-phase fluid passages. Vanes supported radially in the rotor for reciprocal movement are supported in floated states by a liquid film of a pressurized liquid-phase fluid supplied through pressurized liquid-phase fluid passages extending radially outwards within the rotor.

摘要: A condenser is provided that makes a liquid droplet of a liquid phase medium drop effectively, the liquid phase medium residing in a lower end opening of a medium passage of the condenser, thereby preventing any degradation in the performance of the condenser. In the condenser, vapor, which is supplied to a cooling pipe (14) connected to cooling fins (16), is cooled, condensed into water, and recovered in a water-collecting tray (21) provided beneath the cooling pipe (14), and a needle-shaped member (24) provided so as to face the lower end opening of the cooling pipe (14) ruptures the droplet that, due to surface tension, resides in the lower end opening of the cooling pipe (14) and makes it drop into the water-collecting tray (21). A plate-form filter can be used instead of the needle-shaped member (24), and in this case not only can the droplet be made to drop from the lower end opening of the cooling pipe (14) more effectively due to the capillary action of the filter, but also dust contained in the water can be removed.

The high temperature water supplied to the rotor chamber (14) is gasified into steam, and the pressure energy thereof improves the performance of the rotary fluid machine.

摘要: In a Rankine cycle system for an internal combustion engine, including an evaporator (3) for generating a vapor, an expander (4) for converting a heat energy of the vapor into a mechanical energy, a condenser (5) for cooling the vapor discharged from the expander (4) to restore it into water, a tank (6) for storage of the water from the condenser (5), and supply pumps (7, 8) for supplying the water in said tank (6) to the evaporator (3) in a pressurizing manner, the water in the tank (6) is supplied via a water jacket (105) of the internal combustion engine (1) to a dispensing valve (106) by the lower-pressure pump (7). A portion of the water dispensed by the dispensing valve (106) is further pressurized and supplied to the evaporator (3) by the higher-pressure pump (8), and another portion of the water dispensed by the dispensing valve (106) is discharged to the tank (6) after dissipating its heat in an auxiliary (110) such as a heater for heating a vehicle compartment and the like. Thus, it is possible to sufficiently cool heated portions of the internal combustion engine (1) by the water which is a liquid-phase working medium, while maintaining the performance of the Rankine cycle system, thereby aiming at the disuse of a radiator.
