摘要: An embroidering machine or other sewing machine generally has a large number of data setting and selection functions. In this invention, function switches of a predetermined number which is smaller than the number of setting and selection functions are provided and a setting or selection function to be assigned to each of the function switches is switched. A display for explaining setting and selection functions which are currently assigned to each function switch is made. This function explanation display may be made by characters or by figures symbolizing these functions. Further, switch patterns may be displayed on a screen of a display device in a desired arrangement and a switch pattern corresponding to a desired setting or selection function to be selected may be selected and designated by designating the position of the switch pattern in the screen.

摘要: This multi-head type embroidering machine comprises a setting device for setting a combination of operation/non-operation of heads to be in operation and heads to be out of operation in correspondence to a desired one or more steps in an embroidering pattern stitching program. This setting device consists, for example, of a memory storing such combination data of the respective heads. If, in a process of carrying out embroidering, a step in which the operation/non-operation combination of heads should be changed has arrived, combination data set in correspondence to this step is supplied. A needle bar drive mechanism for each head is enabled or disabled independently in accordance with this combination data.

摘要: A time in which an administrator identifies a cause of a failure when the abnormality is detected in a plurality of servers is shortened. An operation management apparatus includes a failure detection unit 26 and a spread determination unit 27. The failure detection unit 26 obtains measured values of a plurality of performance metrics with respect to each of a plurality of target apparatuses to be monitored that are connected to a common apparatus and detects an abnormal item which is the performance metric whose measured value is abnormal with respect to each of the plurality of target apparatuses to be monitored. The spread determination unit 27 outputs the remaining abnormal item excluding the abnormal item detected in all the plurality of target apparatuses to be monitored from the abnormal item of each of the plurality of target apparatuses to be monitored.

摘要: A correlation model which is appropriate for a system analysis can be generated with respect to each of fixed periods such as the dates on which the system analysis is performed, even if the information on modeling periods with respect to system characteristics is not available.A correlation model generation unit 102 generates a plurality of correlation models 122 each expressing correlations between different types of performance values in a predetermined period, which are stored in a performance information unit 111. A model setting unit 103 selects, from among the plurality of correlation models 122 generated by the correlation model generation unit 102, a basic model which is a correlation model 122 showing the highest fitting degree and one or more specific models which are correlation models 122 other than the basic model, on the basis of a fitting degree of each of the correlation models 122 for the performance information in the predetermined period, and sets time periods on which the basic model and the specific models are applied respectively to failure detection.

摘要: To provide a method for sterilizing a packaging material and a sterilizer used therefor, which do not cause unevenness in the sterilization effect, and uses high voltage pulses permitting to improve the sterilization effect. The purpose can be achieved by using such a discharge side electrode as is provided with unevenness having continuous projections on the discharge side surface, in the method in which the sterilizer is provided with a power source for generating high voltage, a discharge side electrode to which the high voltage generated by the power source is applied, and a ground side electrode arranged so as to be opposed to the discharge side of the discharge side electrode, and sterilizes a packaging material to be sterilized by placing it between both electrodes under normal temperature and normal pressure, and applying the high voltage pulses thereto in a gas atmosphere.

摘要: Illuminating device includes a plurality of LEDs positioned at intervals so as to form a linear LED array generally corresponding to an array line along which needle bars are provided, and a lens for gathering emitted light from the LEDs to thereby generate a linear light beam corresponding to the array line. The illuminating device provided in each machine head is controlled, independently of the illuminating devices of the other machine heads, in response to an operating state of the machine head. Thus, it is possible to not only generate, at low cost, a linear light beam suited to illumination of areas around the points of a plurality of needles arranged in a linear array, but also appropriately control the needle point illumination for the plurality of machine heads.

摘要: A lead-free solder alloy comprises 0.8 to 5.0% inclusive by weight of Ag, not less than 0.1% by weight of In, not less than 0.1% by weight of Bi, the total amount of In and Bi being not more than 17% by weight and the balance of Sn and inevitable impurities. The other lead-free solder alloy further contains 0.1 to 10% by weight of Sb. These solder alloys have low melting point and narrow melting range, and furthermore, they show excellent wettability and mechanical characteristics.
