    摘要: The present invention provides a heat-screening glass provided with a protective film having improved wear resistance and chemical resistance in comparison with a protective film of silicon dioxide. A heat-screening glass according to the present invention is composed of a transparent sheet glass and a heat-screening film coated thereon and a protective film made of silicon oxynitride as an outermost layer. The protective film is made of silicon oxynitride represented by the formula SiO.sub.x N.sub.y (where x ranges from 0.65 to 1.25 and y ranges from 0.05 to 0.67) .

    摘要: A heat ray screening glass according to this invention comprises a sheet glass, a first layer covered on the sheet glass and which is 55 nm to 70 nm thick and has a refractive index of 1.8 to 2.1 at a wavelength of 550 nm, a second layer covered on the first layer and consisting of a TiO.sub.2 film which is 30 nm to 55 nm thick and has a refractive index of 2.3 to 2.5 at a wavelength of 550 nm, and a third layer covered on the second layer and which is 45 nm to 60 nm thick and has a refractive index of 1.8 to 2.1 at a wavelength of 550 nm, wherein the change in color of the light transmitted through and reflected on the sheet ray screening glass is very little, and a comparative high visible light transmittance and a low visible light reflectivity in the glass can be obtained.

    摘要: An electrically heated window glass is provided, in which an electric power load may be suppressed by causing a consumed electric power for energizing a heater to be variable depending on the purpose of heating. The electrically heated window glass in accordance with the present invention comprises two glass panels laminated to each other; a plurality of heaters sandwiched between the two glass panels for heating the glass panels, the heaters being positioned in such a manner that the heaters divide the surface of the laminated glass panels into plural parts; a plurality bus bars each provided at the end portions of each of the plurality of heaters for feeding thereto; and a changeover means for switching the connection between selected one of the plurality of bus bars and a DC power supply to heat the plurality of heaters in a series connected manner or parallel connected manner.

    摘要: A glazing is disclosed comprising at least one ply of glass having an electrically conductive component on at least one surface, and an electrical connector electrically connected to the electrically conductive component through a soldered joint, the solder of the joint having a composition comprising 0.5 wt % or more indium, wherein the electrical connector comprises a nickel plated contact for contacting the solder. Also disclosed are solders having a composition comprising 14 to 75 wt % In, 14 to 75 wt % Sn, to 5 wt % Ag, to 5 wt % Ni, and less than 0.1 wt % Pb. Also disclosed is use of a solder having a composition comprising 0.5 wt % or more indium to solder a nickel plated electrical connector to an electrically conductive component on the surface of a ply of glass. The aspects of the invention improve the durability of electrical connections on glazing.
