    摘要: This invention provides compounds which are represented by a general formula [I] [in which X stands for hydrogen or halogen; B stands for halogen, cyano or optionally fluorine-substituted lower alkyl; D stands for a 3–10 membered aliphatic nitrogen-containing heterocyclic group; R3, R4 and R5 may be same or different, and each stands for hydrogen, lower alkyl optionally having substituent group(s) and the like; and a is 0 or 1]. These compounds exhibit high affinity to nociceptin receptors and whereby inhibit actions of nociceptin, and are useful as an analgesic, antiobestic, agent for ameliorating brain function, treating agents for Alzheimer's disease and dementia, and therapeutic agents for schizophrenia, neurodegenerative diseases, depression, diabetes insipidus, polyuria, hypotension and the like.

    摘要: A novel element capable of simply controlling an in-plane rotational motion of a core (a rising spot of a magnetization) generated in the center of a ferromagnetic dot made by forming a ferromagnetic material into a nanosized disk shape is provided. In addition, a binary information memory element using a core, including a ferromagnetic dot, made of a disk-shaped ferromagnetic material, with a magnetic structure of a magnetic vortex structure, and a current supplier for supplying an alternating current with a predetermined alternating current in the radial direction of the ferromagnetic dot is provided. In the case where the frequency of the current resonates with the intrinsic frequency of the ferromagnetic dot, it is possible to rotate the core in the plane of the dot. Since the core leaks a magnetic field, a microscopic actuator such as a motor can be obtained by using this element. Furthermore, supplying a current having a density not less than a predetermined value reverses the core. This allows the expression of binary information.

    摘要: A method and apparatus for correcting for deterministic jitter in a sequential sampling timebase. The value of a fine analog delay is held at a substantially constant nominal rate during a duration of a counting of a digital clock. A time difference between a trigger at which a fine analog delay starts measuring time and the occurrence of a digital pulse of a stable clock used to count a coarse delay is measured. An input waveform is sampled at a sample time having a nominal delay time. After sampling, a desired compensation time is provided for the sample of the input waveform in accordance with combinations of three independent variables defining a calibration table. The waveform is reconstructed by shifting a delay time of a sampled value of the input waveform from its nominal delay time in accordance with a value defined by the calibration table.

    摘要: In a sampling gate circuit, a broadband and high-precision sampling gate circuit is realized by further employing first and second equivalent sampling networks which are equal to a sampling operation by a first sampling gate circuit. The first and second equivalent sampling networks compensate for distortions in the signal output by the first sampling gate circuit and allow an input waveform to be reproduced at high precision. The output from the first sampling gate circuit is input to a positive terminal of a differential amplifier. The outputs from the first and second equivalent sampling networks are input into two respective negative inputs of a differential amplifier, to cancel the distortions of the signal output from the first sampling gate circuit and input to the positive terminal of the differential amplifier. This device may find particular application in sampling type oscilloscopes or the like.
