Abstract:
An information processing unit of a communication apparatus includes a non-volatile memory and a volatile memory. A control unit of the communication apparatus loads the boot image from the non-volatile memory to the volatile memory upon activation of the communication apparatus, activates the virtual machine template in the loaded boot image on the volatile memory, deactivates the activated virtual machine template after reconfiguring the activated virtual machine template to minimum required configuration to execute a virtual machine. Upon receipt of a request for addition of communication service, the control unit creates a replicate virtual machine template by replicating the deactivated virtual machine template, activates the replicate virtual machine template, reconfigures the activated replicate virtual machine template to configuration according to the request for addition of communication service, and executes the reconfigured replicate virtual machine template as a virtual machine to provide the communication service.
Abstract:
Upon receipt of an intercepted first Ethernet Frame, a communication system converts the first Ethernet Frame into a second Ethernet Frame including a second identifier based on the first identifier and the conversion information, and sends the second Ethernet Frame toward a first input/output port identified by the second identifier. The system, in sending an Ethernet Frame on which communication service has been executed from the virtual machine, converts the Ethernet Frame on which the communication service has been executed into a third Ethernet Frame including a third identifier identifying a second input/output port of the virtual machine which has executed the communication service. The system converts the third Ethernet Frame into the first Ethernet Frame including the first identifier based on the third identifier and the conversion information and sends the first Ethernet Frame toward the destination of the first Ethernet Frame.

Abstract:
A communication system comprising computers and a management computer, wherein the computers include a communication control unit configured to control a communication using a session of a terminal. The communication control unit manages a database storing in a plurality of pieces of session information. The management computer includes property management information for managing a property of each of the plurality of pieces of session information. The session information migration control unit is configured to: detect a migration trigger of the plurality of pieces of session information stored in a first database; select the plurality of pieces of session information from the plurality of pieces of session information stored in the first database based on the property management information; determine a migration order for the selected plurality of pieces of session information based on the property of the each of the selected plurality of pieces of session information.
Abstract:
When detecting the configuration change or the operating state of a virtual machine of the main system, a VM management unit changes a value of a determination index of the virtual machine, and selects a virtual machine of the standby system/auxiliary system used for failure recovery of the virtual machine of the main system on the basis of a value of the determination index. A pattern generation unit provides the virtual machine of the standby system/auxiliary system selected by the VM management unit.
Abstract:
A control device determines whether communications that a base station accommodates are congested, based on obtained information, and identifies a terminal that is accommodated in the base station in which it is determined that the communications are congested, as a terminal of which communications a proxy device is to control. The proxy device controls communications between the base station and a server, by using a protocol that acknowledges that the data has reached a reception side, calculates a loss rate in communications by the identified terminal are to be discarded, by utilizing acknowledgement packets which are used by the protocol, and relays a communication of the identified terminal, by a transmission band which has been reduced by the calculated loss rate portion.
Abstract:
Packet communication apparatus connects plural LANs to each other, in termination of a WAN that conducts data communication using handshake communication protocol. Apparatus buffers data packets between the LANs, and transfers, as a proxy, response packets and data packets to a terminal device. The apparatus stops transmission of data packets belonging to an arbitrary packet flow when the reception of the response packets belonging to the packet flow from the WAN is ceased for a network outage detection time or more set, while transmitting data packets belonging to the arbitrary packet flow. The apparatus retransmits a first data packet whose corresponding response packet is not received, belonging to the packet flow immediately after the data packet transmission stops, and retransmits all data packets whose corresponding response packets are not received, belonging to the packet flow, when receiving the response packets from the WAN.
