Thus, the output shaft, the gear mechanism and the switch unit are accommodated in a housing, and a groove section for weakening the stiffness of the housing is formed in housing at a position which avoids a position where the switch unit is arranged.

    摘要: A method for producing hydrogen peroxide by an anthraquinone process includes the steps of: reducing with hydrogen a working solution containing an organic solvent and anthraquinone in the presence of a hydrogenation catalyst; and activating the hydrogenation catalyst when a hydrogenation selectivity has decreased due to repeated use, wherein the catalyst activation step includes a step of treating the hydrogenation catalyst with a first alkaline aqueous solution of pH 10 or above containing an alkali metal, and then washing the treated hydrogenation catalyst with water or a second alkaline aqueous solution that is more weakly alkaline than the first alkaline aqueous solution so as to set a catalyst soak solution comprising 5 parts by weight of pure water in admixture with 1 part by weight of the activated hydrogenation catalyst to a pH of 8.0 or above.

    摘要: A seismic isolation apparatus which has a composite multilayered member comprising a plurality of hard plates having rigidity and a plurality of soft plates having viscoelastic property which are arranged to form alternating layers between an upper flange and a lower flange; and satisfies the condition that the proper vibration to the horizontal direction of the seismic isolation apparatus which is represented by f.sub.H and obtained by the equation ##EQU1## wherein K.sub.H represents a spring constant of the seismic isolation apparatus to the horizontal direction, M represents mass of a structure mounted on the seismic isolation apparatus, and f.sub.H has a value in the range of: 0.1 Hz.ltoreq.f.sub.H .ltoreq.2 Hz when the displacement of the seismic isolation apparatus in the horizontal direction is 2 mm or less, 0.1 Hz.ltoreq.f.sub.H .ltoreq.0.8 Hz when the displacement of the seismic isolation apparatus in the horizontal direction is equal to 100% shearing strain, and 0.9 Hz.ltoreq.f.sub.H when deformation in terms of shearing strain is relaxed by 10% from the maximum deformation in measurement of a hysteresis loop of the seismic isolation apparatus. The seismic isolation apparatus has the function of seismic isolation, prevention of shake by wind, and isolation of traffic vibration and is advantageously used for structures having a light weicht, such as single family houses.

    摘要: An angular rate detector is disclosed having a first and a second detecting electrode 6a, 7a, which detect a second oscillation produced by Coriolis force, and disposed at locations which are symmetrical with respect to a direction of excitation D2 of a piezoelectric oscillator 2 and which corresponds to nodes of a first oscillation produced by the excitation. When the piezoelectric oscillator 2 rotates in a certain direction, a first signal appearing at the first detecting electrode 6a will be lagging in phase while a second signal appearing at the second detecting electrode 7a will be leading in phase. An electrical circuit produces an angular rate signal which represents a phase difference between the first and the second signal. In order to achieve a level of the first and the second signal which can be sensed by the electrical circuit it the angular rate is equal to zero, in a first embodiment, the first and the second detecting electrode 6a, 7a are disposed so as to be offset from nodes of the first oscillation of the oscillator 2 by an amount .crclbar. toward the direction of the first oscillation D2. In a second embodiment, impedances of electrical circuits of the vibration system D2 and the detection system D3, D4 are chosen so that the resonant frequencies of the first and the second oscillation are different relative to each other. In a third embodiment, a weight is added to or a notch is formed in the oscillator to achieve a relative offset between the resonant frequencies of the first and the second oscillation.

    摘要: An apparatus for use in an automatic door system. Means are provided which compares the current position of the running door with a deceleration point to generate a low speed command upon their coincidence. A speed control responds to decelerate the door to a selected low speed. A measuring device measures a variable run-length of the door which is subject to variations in the mechanical condition of the door. In one embodiment, the device measures a low speed run-length over which the door has moved at a low speed. A comparator compares the measured low speed run-length with a preselected optimal low speed run-length to obtain error or departure from the optimal value. A correction logic produces an updated deceleration point by removing the error from the former deceleration point.
