摘要: A vehicle control device for controlling a vehicle includes a drive source and an automatic transmission connected to the drive source and including a variator. The vehicle control device includes: a first control unit configured to execute a during-travel drive source stop control for stopping the drive source and shifting the automatic transmission in a neutral state if a during-travel drive source stop condition is satisfied; and a second control unit configured to execute a during-travel drive source stop release control for shifting the automatic transmission in a power transmission state via a rotation synchronization control in the automatic transmission set in the neutral state if a during-travel drive source stop release condition is satisfied. The second control unit executes the rotation synchronization control with the variator downshifted from a speed ratio during the during-travel drive source stop control if the during-travel drive source stop release condition accompanied by a downshifting request of the variator is satisfied.

摘要: A vehicle sailing stop control method is provided for a vehicle including a friction engagement element disposed between a traveling drive source and drive wheels, a torque converter disposed between the friction engagement element and the traveling drive source, and including a lock-up clutch for which a power transmission amount is controlled based on hydraulic pressure, and a hydraulic pressure source that can supply the hydraulic pressure while the traveling drive source is stopped. The vehicle sailing stop control method includes: performing sailing stop control so that coasting is performed by cutting off power transmission of the friction engagement element and stopping the traveling drive source upon a sailing stop travel condition being established; and, during coasting by the sailing stop control, placing the lock-up clutch in a power transmission state in which the hydraulic pressure is applied to the lock-up clutch.

摘要: Variator (20) and forward clutch (Fwd/C) disposed in series are provided between engine (1) having starter motor (15) and driving wheel (7). Sailing stop control that, on the basis of satisfaction of sailing entering condition, interrupts power transmission by frictional engagement element (Fwd/C), stops engine (1) and performs coast-travel is performed. When sailing entering condition is satisfied, coast-travel is started with rotation stop timing of variator (20) being delayed with respect to rotation stop timing of engine (1). When accelerator pedal depression operation intervenes after start of coast-travel, engine (1) is restarted by starter motor (15). When judged that input and output rotation speeds of frictional engagement element (Fwd/C) become synchronization rotation speed after restart of engine (1), frictional engagement element (Fwd/C) is reengaged. Shift response from coast-travel to normal travel is therefore improved at change-of-mind at which sailing quitting condition is satisfied during progress of automatic stop of engine.

摘要: A vehicle control device includes control means for executing coasting control to disengage a friction engaging element and set a rotation speed of a rotary shaft of a drive source at zero when a predetermined condition is established, the predetermined condition including at least a condition according to which an accelerator pedal is not depressed. The control means starts the coasting control after predicting that an actual speed ratio of a continuously variable transmission will be modifiable to a target speed ratio of the coasting control during the coasting control, even in a case where the accelerator pedal is not depressed but the actual speed ratio has not yet reached the target speed ratio.
