    摘要: The present invention relates to a curable silicone release coating composition comprising a mixture of an organopolysiloxane containing at least two alkenyl groups per compound, an organohydrogensilicon compound, inhibitors having a boiling point of up to 130.degree. C. at atmospheric pressure, inhibitors having a boiling point of at least 170.degree. C. at atmospheric pressure a platinum group metal-containing catalyst, and optionally a diluent. The silicone release coating compositions are stable when stored at room temperature, especially when the composition is used on a coating roll for the production of a thin films. The compositions of this invention also quickly form a cured film having good release properties for adhesive materials at a comparatively low temperatures.

    摘要: A method of making siloxane-based polyamides which includes at least one repeating unit represented by the formula ##STR1## wherein X is a linear or branched C.sub.1 -C.sub.30 alkylene chain; Y is a linear or branched C.sub.1 -C.sub.20 alkylene chain; DP is an integer having a value of 10-500; n is an integer having a value of 1-500. The method involves heating an intimate reaction mixture containing an olefinic acid and an organic diamine at a temperature greater than 100.degree. C. and forming an organic diamide; and thereafter reacting the organic diamide with a hydride-terminated polydimethylsiloxane in the presence of a hydrosilylation catalyst to form the siloxane-based polyamide.

    摘要: Poly(siloxane-acrylate) elastomers with low weep characteristics are formed by the steps of: (A) forming an amine functional alkenyl-containing siloxane by mixing and heating: (a) a polydiorganosiloxane, (b) an amino-functional silane hydrolyzate, (c) an alkenylorganosiloxane, and (d) a base equilibration catalyst, then (B) reacting, at room temperature, the amine functional alkenyl-containing siloxane with an acrylate to form a curable alkenyl-containing poly(siloxane-acrylate) with oxycarbonylethyleneimino-containing organic groups, and (C) curing the alkenyl-containing poly(siloxane-acrylate) to form an poly(siloxane-acrylate) elastomer.

The present invention further relates to a method of making silicone release coating compositions comprising mixing an organopolysiloxane compound having alkenyl groups which contain at least four carbon atoms, an organohydrogensilicon compound, a platinum group metal-containing catalyst, and a silylated acetylenic compound having its formula selected from the group consisting of: HC≡C—Q—O—Si—(R3)3, HC≡C—Q—O—Si(R3)2—O—Q—C≡CH, and H—Si—(O—Q—C≡CH)3 where R3is independently selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, monovalent hydrocarbon radicals free of aliphatic unsaturation, and an alkenyl group, and Q is a divalent hydrocarbon radical at least 3 carbon atoms, with the proviso that there is at most one silicon-bonded hydrogen group or one silicon-bonded alkenyl group per silylated acetylenic compound.
