Aspects of a method and system for Bluetooth transport sharing to carry GPS or other types of data are provided. A multi-standard Bluetooth enabled device may operate via integrated radios such as a GPS radio. The Bluetooth transport path may be shared to carry both Bluetooth data and non-Bluetooth data. The non-Bluetooth data may be converted to Bluetooth vendor specific packets using the assigned vendor specific commands. The Bluetooth vendor specific packets may be multiplexed with other Bluetooth HCI packets and communicate over the Bluetooth transport path. The Bluetooth vendor specific packets may be de-multiplexed based on the assigned vendor specific command and routed properly. Non-Bluetooth devices may be an on-chip and off-chip devices. The multi-standard Bluetooth enabled device may enable a downloadable driver to ensure communication with the off-chip devices. The Bluetooth transport path may be UART, USB, SPI, and/or I2C.

Adaptive multi-pathway wireless charging is described. In one aspect, embodiments enable one or more wireless charging pathways to be established concurrently in a wireless charging environment. The wireless charging pathways use same or different frequencies, powers, wireless power transfer (WPT) standards, and WPT configurations. Embodiments for adaptively configuring wireless charging based on detected events or changes in WPT characteristics are also provided.

A vehicular network is a closed network with known sources, destinations, and network connections that can be mapped in advance, and used to identify network resources needed to transmit a packet from a source to a destination. A network module can determine the source destination, and a priority of a packet based on the packet's content. Using the source and destination information, along with a network topology data, the network module can determine if two packets need the same network resources to be delivered to their destination. When the two packets do not use the same resources, there is no conflict, and the packets can be transmitted concurrently regardless of whether one of the packets has a higher priority than another packet. If there is a conflict, the network module transmits the packets based on the packets' priorities.

One system providing enhanced motion detection includes a smart display, an interface subsystem including a human interface device (HID), and a console having a processor configured to form communication links with the smart display and the interface subsystem and to provide motion detection feedback, using the smart display, to a user of the HID, where the HID is configured to sense motion of the HID and utilize a predictive model to characterize the motion of the HID. One interface subsystem includes a camera to sense motion of a user of the HID. One processor is configured to negotiate a reduced response latency with the smart display.

The device buffers temporarily store outgoing device packets from, and temporarily store incoming device packets for, vehicle devices in accordance with a locally managed prioritization scheme. The network buffer receives incoming network packets from, and outputs the outgoing network packets to, a vehicle network fabric in accordance with a global vehicle network protocol. The network buffer also temporarily stores the incoming network packets and the outgoing network packets in accordance with the locally managed prioritization scheme. The switching circuit selectively couples the network buffer to individual ones of the device buffers in accordance with the locally managed prioritization scheme. The processing module interprets the outgoing device packets and the incoming network packets to determine types of packets and determines the locally managed prioritization scheme based on the types of packets.

A processing module included in the bridge routing module analyzes packets to identify the type of content carried by the packets, and determines packet routing parameters based on the packet's content type. Ingress and egress of the packet are controlled in accordance with the packet routing parameters determined by the processing module.

A wireless power transfer system is disclosed that includes a power station and a chargeable device. The power station transmits discovery beacons in order to detect a chargeable device within its vicinity using any available communication protocols and/or standards. Once a device is discovered, the power station can perform coil selection with the device in order to select preferred coils for power transfer. In addition, the chargeable device is capable of detecting the beacon signal and providing a response to notify the power station of its presence. The chargeable device is capable of performing its own coil selection for further optimization and includes various assistance functionality to aid a user in optimizing a connection with the power station.
