摘要: An HVAC system within a building including an HVAC device having an air filter, a number of sensors, and a control device. The control device has a processor that is configured to determine a current air quality metric based on air quality measurements received by the sensor. The control device is further configured to calculate an average air quality metric based on the current air quality metric and a set of previous air quality metrics. The control device is further configured to store the average air quality metric. The control device is further configured to generate an air filter type recommendation based on the average air quality metric.

摘要: A multi-function thermostat for a building includes a sensor configured to measure an environmental condition of a building space, a communication interface, and a processing circuit. The communications interface is configured to communicate with an emergency server and receive occupant health data from a health sensor configured to monitor an occupant. The processing circuit is configured to determine a health metric associated with the occupant based on the occupant health data and cause the communications interface to send a distress message to the emergency server when the health metric associated with the occupant indicates a medical emergency.

摘要: A thermostat for a building space includes a communications interface, an electronic display, and a processing circuit. The communications interface is configured to receive service provider information via a network connection. The electronic display includes a user interface configured to display the service provider information. The processing circuit is configured to determine when to display the service provider information on the electronic display by monitoring thermostat events.

摘要: A control device for a building management system (BMS) including a touch screen display configured to mount to a mounting surface, a communications interface configured to communicate with the BMS, a near field communication (NFC) sensor configured to receive information from a NFC device, a microphone configured to detect vocal input, and a processing circuit coupled to the touch screen display. The processing circuit including a processor and memory coupled to the processor, the memory storing instructions thereon that, when executed by the processor, cause the control device to receive user input from at least one of the touch screen display, the NFC sensor, or the microphone, validate an identity of a user based on the user input, and cause the BMS to control an environmental variable of a space based on the validation.

摘要: A controller for controlling a temperature of a building space includes an occupancy sensor configured to measure an occupancy signal indicating whether one or more occupants are within the building space and a processing circuit configured to receive the occupancy signal from the occupancy sensor. The processing circuit is configured to determine whether the number of occupants within the building space has increased by a predefined amount based on the received occupancy signal, decrease a value of a temperature setpoint for the building space from a first value to a second value in response to a determination that the number of occupants within the building space has increased by the predefined amount based on the received occupancy signal, and reduce the temperature of the building space by controlling one or more pieces of building equipment associated with the building space.
