An optical disc device includes a playing chassis which is supported turnably on a main body of the disc drive and on which a turntable is installed, a substantially Y-shaped cam groove formed on the playing chassis, a driving lever on which a substantially T-shaped cam groove is formed and which transmits a power to a holding portion of the disc, and a turning lever supported turnably on the main body and engaged with the playing chassis and the cam groove of the driving lever via a driving shaft, wherein a turning of the turning lever is followed by a turning of the playing chassis and a movement of the driving lever that follows the turning of the playing chassis to hold a disc as a series of operations.

    摘要: A disc device is for electrically identifying and determining the number of discs inserted into the disc device. Roller members for coming in contact with a disc inserted into the device, transporting the disc, and inserting and ejecting the disc are provided in the vicinity of a disc insertion slot of a cabinet. A lever member for engaging a lever engagement part of a roller member and capable of rotating with a stem member as a supporting point and a push switch for detecting displacement of the lever member are provided. If the disc is inserted into the device, the roller member displaces in the up direction of the disc (A direction in a figure), the lever member displaces in an H direction in the figure, and the displacement of the lever member is detected by the push switch, whereby the thickness of the disc inserted into the device is detected.

A mechanical detector, having a contact element for contact with at least one of obverse and reverse surfaces of the optical disc to detect the optical disc, is provided within the body so that an identification and a disc ejection control processing for optical discs can be effected easily and positively.
