    Abstract: The present invention relates to an airbag cushion and an airbag system including the same, and particularly to an airbag cushion, including: at least one fabric; and seam parts connecting the fabric, wherein deviation of upper seam thread length per a unit length of the fabric between the first seam part sewed in forward direction and the second seam part sewed in reverse direction in the seam parts is 15% or less, a method of preparing the same, and an airbag system including the same. The airbag cushion of the present invention is superior in working stability and unfolding performance because of the optimized properties of the seam parts, provides superior shape stability and air-tight effect at the same time, and can protect a passenger by minimizing the shock given to the passenger.

    Abstract: This invention relates to fabric for airbag comprising a textile substrate; and a coating layer on at least one side of the textile substrate, wherein coating layer comprises polyurethane resin, a crosslinking agent, and a hydrophilic thickener, and the crosslinking agent is a compound having a blocked active group, and a method for preparing fabric for airbag, comprising steps of: preparing a textile substrate; and forming a coating layer on at least one side of the textile substrate, wherein the step of forming a coating layer comprise steps of: adding a crosslinking agent and a hydrophilic thickener to an aqueous polyurethane dispersion to prepare a coating solution; applying the coating solution on at least one side of the textile substrate; drying the textile substrate on which the coating solution is applied; and heat treating the dried textile substrate.

    Abstract: Disclosed is a method for manufacturing a polyester fabric for an airbag that can not only prevent or minimize the separation of a sizing agent, which is provided to a yarn through a sizing process, during a weaving process, but can also maximize a peel strength between a textile substrate and a coating layer to be subsequently formed thereon and lower the stiffness of an airbag fabric by effectively removing the sizing agent from the textile substrate after the weaving process is completed. The method of the present invention comprises: applying a polyester-based sizing agent to a polyester yarn; manufacturing a textile substrate with the sizing agent-applied polyester yarn; removing the sizing agent from the textile substrate under an alkaline condition of pH 8 to 10; and forming a coating layer on the sizing agent-removed textile substrate in order to enhance air-tightness.

    Abstract: Disclosed is a polyethylene yarn capable of providing a user with a soft tactile sensation as well as a cooling feeling or a cooling sensation, and also having improved weavability that enables the manufacture of a skin cooling fabrics having excellent pilling resistance, abrasion resistance, cuttability, and sewability, a method for manufacturing the same, and a skin cooling fabric including the same. In a strength-elongation curve of the polyethylene yarn obtained by measuring at ambient temperature, (i) elongation at strength of 1 g/d is 0.5 to 3%, (ii) elongation at strength of 3 g/d is 5.5 to 10%, and (iii) a difference between elongation at strength of 4 g/d and elongation at maximum strength is 5.5 to 25%, and the polyethylene yarn has toughness of 55 to 120 J/m3 at ambient temperature.

    Abstract: Disclosed is a side curtain airbag and an airbag system including the same. The side curtain airbag according to the present invention comprises an inflating part having gas inflation, a non-inflating part supporting the inflating part, and an adhered part constituting a boundary between the inflating part and the non-inflating part. The adhered part is coated with a seam sealant and sewed. The initial maximum pressure of the inflating part is 40 kPa or more when injecting a gas therein with an instant pressure of at least 10 bar, and the pressure after 6 seconds is 25 kPa or more. The side curtain airbag may optimize to apply the method of seam sealant coating and sewing on the adhered part constituting a boundary between the inflating part and the non-inflating part. Thus, it can keep the internal gas pressure of the airbag to the extent of protecting passengers safely at rollover.
