Abstract:
The present invention relates to an ensemble evolutionary chemical binding similarity (ensECBS) model, which is a chemical binding similarity searching method widely applicable as a powerful tool for representing an unknown relationship between chemicals by using evolutionary information of proteins binding to chemicals.
Abstract:
Provided is a method for preventing, ameliorating, or treating inflammatory diseases by administering a composition containing extracellular vesicles (EVs) derived from Roseburia spp. strains and/or Bifidobacterium spp. strains, wherein the EVs exhibits effectiveness in improving inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), and additionally, all EVs derived from congeneric strains corresponding to Roseburia spp. strains or Bifidobacterium spp. strains. have been confirmed to exhibit strong anti-inflammatory effect, and the strains and EVs derived therefrom can be provided as a composition for preventing, ameliorating, or treating a variety of inflammatory diseases.
Abstract:
Provided are methods of reducing and killing bacteria and fungi, and photodynamic treatment methods and sterilization methods using the methods of reducing and killing bacteria and fungi. The method of reducing and killing bacteria and fungi includes bringing a composition including a Ligularia fischeri extract or a fraction thereof as an active ingredient into contact with cells or tissues of a subject and irradiating cells or tissues of a subject in contact with the composition with an absorbable wavelength of excitation light.
Abstract:
Disclosed are a method for manufacturing a high-density neural probe including needles having various forms and a neural probe manufactured thereby. The method, in which only a photolithography process and an etching process are used, simplifies a manufacturing process of the neural probe, minimizes changes in the characteristics of the neural probe depending on process equipment or conditions, and may thus ensure a high yield, thereby being advantageous in terms of commercialization. In addition, various forms of needles may be manufactured depending on the shape of patterns included in a mask, the height of the needles may be controlled by adjusting the size of the patterns and the gap between the patterns, and thereby, a neural probe having a plurality of needles having different heights may be manufactured.
Abstract:
Provided are a pharmaceutical composition including a Crepidiastrum denticulatum extract as an active ingredient; and a method for preventing or treating ischemia-reperfusion injury in a subject by using a food composition or the pharmaceutical composition.
Abstract:
A mesh type atomizer according to an embodiment includes a porous thin film having a multi-hole structure, a metal layer covering a remaining area except a nozzle area in which droplets are sprayed through the holes on a surface of the porous thin film, and an ultrasonic transducer to output ultrasonic waves to vibrate the porous thin film. According to an embodiment, it is possible to atomize a liquid into nanometer-level fine particles using the porous thin film including nanometer sized holes. It is possible to precisely adjust the sprayed droplet size by setting the shape, size and cycle of the nozzle in the manufacturing process, and it is possible to selectively increase the strength of the mesh by growing the metal material in the hole of the porous thin film through electroplating.

Provided are a pharmaceutical composition including a Crepidiastrum denticulatum extract as an active ingredient; and a method for preventing or treating ischemia-reperfusion injury in a subject by using a food composition or the pharmaceutical composition.
Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to a composition which comprises Centipede minima as an active ingredient. The composition of the present disclosure exhibits an effect of protecting neuronal cells from oxidative stress and inhibiting apoptosis of neuronal cells. In addition, the composition can increase expression of antioxidant enzymes which inhibit cellular apoptosis caused by increased oxidative stress in cells. Accordingly, the composition of the present disclosure can exhibit an effect of preventing, improving or treating secondary diseases that may be caused by apoptosis of neuronal cells due to oxidative stress and can be used as a pharmaceutical or food composition.
