    摘要: To obtain optimum combustion of fuel in an internal combustion engine and prevent the occurrence of reverse torque therein, an ignition timing control system having a pulse generating circuit for generating first and second timing pulses corresponding to respective predetermined crank angles of the engine includes means for producing all essential signals and, hence, for setting maximum delay angle ignition timing, based on a reference which is the leading edge of the second timing signal, which edge is unaffected by unstable engine rotation as when the engine is started. To simplify and reduce circuitry, an ignition signal generating circuit and a reverse torque preventing circuit are integrated and adapted to perform both functions.

    摘要: One feature of the present invention is a battery to be mounted on a vehicle, in which the battery casing is formed with a recess into which a starter magnetic switch is fitted. Another feature of the invention is a starter magnetic switch which can be fitted into the recess formed in the battery. The starter magnetic switch has a rocker means which is made of a conductive material. The rocker means has a moving electric contact which is biased normally open and which is closed when the solenoids built into the switch are energized, to close the drive circuit of a starter motor. The rocking means has one end projecting to the outside of a switch casing and is fastened to the positive terminal of the battery. In addition, a supporting means, which projects to the outside of the switch casing at the side opposed to the portion where the rocking means projects, is fastened to the negative terminal of the battery. The rocking means is arranged such that the portion fastened to the positive terminal of the battery and the portion to be attracted by the solenoids are offset while holding a generally parallel relationship not in a common plane.

    摘要: Ethylenic polymer/styrenic polymer blend foams are prepared from blends of (1) an ethylenic polymer resin having a density of from 0.915 to 0.930 g/cm.sup.3 and a melt index of from 0.2 to 2.6 grams/10 minutes and (2) a styrenic polymer resin having a melt flow rate of from 1.4 to 18 grams/10 minutes. Foams having an excellent overall combination of properties are obtained (1) when the density, D, of such foams is in the range of from 10 to 40 kg/m.sup.3 and the 25 percent compressive strength, F, in kg/cm.sup.2 is from 0.013D.sup.1.15 to 0.024D.sup.1.15 and (2) when the ratio, R, of the melt flow rate of the styrenic polymer employed divided by the melt index of the ethylenic polymer employed is from 7 to 90 and the content, Y, of the styrenic polymer in said blend, in parts by weight based upon 100 parts by weight of the ethylenic polymer resin, satisfies the following requirement:10.ltoreq.Y.ltoreq.3.94.7+1.18R-294.1 log (D).

    摘要: The present invention discloses a vinylidene chloride resin type in-mold foam molding having a broad cross-sectional area and a free shape, which is useful as thermal insulating plate materials or as anti-shock molded vessels, and also to foam particles, which are or expandable particles convenient for the preparation thereof. The present invention is also related to a series of advantageous foaming techniques for completion of such a molding. The above foam molding can be prepared by contacting fine particles of a non-crystalline vinylidene chloride type resin obtained generally by suspension polymerization with a volatile organic blowing agent thereby impregnating the resins with the blowing agent to form expandable resin particles, which are in turn subjected to expansion as such, or after forming into pre-expanded foam particles including expandable gas therein, by filling in a mold cavity which can be closed but not sealed, under heating to form a molding through a mutual fusion between the expanded particles.

    摘要: There is disclosed expandable vinylidene chloride-based resin particles comprising 100 parts by weight of a non-crystalline vinylidene chloride-based resin composition and 1 to 40 parts by weight of a volatile organic blowing agent or a composition thereof, said resin composition consisting ofa tetrahydrofuran-soluble component [A] which is a random copolymer having a weight-average molecular weight of 10,000 to 600,000 and constituted of different units represented severally by the following general formulae ##STR1## wherein; R.sub.1 denotes alkyl of 1 to 4 carbon atoms, cyclohexyl, phenyl, or each of R.sub.6 and R.sub.7 being --CH.sub.3, --C.sub.2 H.sub.5, --Cl, --Br, --OCH.sub.3, or --H; each of R.sub.2 and R.sub.4 denotes --H or --CH.sub.3 ; R.sub.3 denotes halogen, --CN, ##STR2## n being an integer 1 to 8 and R.sub.3 ' being --H or --OH; a tetrahydrofuran-insoluble component [B] which is a random copolymer constituted of different units represented severally by the general formula (a), (b), and (c) and the following general formula ##STR3## wherein; (a), (b), (c), R.sub.1, R.sub.2, R.sub.3, R.sub.4, R.sub.6 and R.sub.7 are defined as aboveand R.sub.5 denotes phenylene, ##STR4## m being an integer of 2 to 3, l being an integer of 2 to 5, and k being an integer of 2 to 6;the proportions of components [A] and [B] satisfying the conditions:[A]+[B]=100% by weight[A].gtoreq.20% by weight and said resin composition having a glass transition temperature of at least 85.degree.
