    摘要: A vibrating gyroscope 10 includes a regular quadrangular prism-shaped vibrator 12. The vibrator 12 includes, a first piezoelectric base plate 14a and a second piezoelectric base plate 14b, which are polarized reversely each other in a direction of thickness. On a main surface of the first piezoelectric base plate 14a, two divided electrodes 16, 16 are formed in laterally spaced relationship. On a main surface of the second piezoelectric base plate 14b, a common electrode 18 is formed. Between the first piezoelectric base plate 14a and the second piezoelectric base plate 14b, a dummy electrode 20 is formed. One output terminal of an oscillation circuit 30 as a driving means is connected to the two divided electrodes 16, 16 of the vibrator 12, via resistors 32a and 32b. Another output terminal of the oscillation circuit 30 is connected to the common electrode 18 of the vibrator 12. The two divided electrodes 16, 16 of the vibrator 12 are respectively connected to a non-inverting input terminal and an inverting input terminal of a differential amplifier circuit 36 as a detecting means, via resistors 34a and 34b.

    摘要: A vibration gyroscope 10 includes a vibrator 12. The vibrator 12 has a vibration member 14 formed in a regular triangular prism shape. On side faces of the vibration member 14, piezoelectric elements 16a, 16b and 16c are formed. Two of the piezoelectric elements 16a and 16b are connected to resistors 26 and 28, respectively. Between the other feedback piezoelectric element 16c and these resistors, an oscillation circuit 30 is connected. A signal having a phase opposite to that of the signal output from the feedback piezoelectric element 16c is input to the vibration member 14 serving as a grounding terminal by a phase inverter 34. The signals output from the two piezoelectric elements 16a and 16b are input to a differential circuit 36. The differential circuit 36 is connected to a synchronous detection circuit 38 and connected to a smoothing circuit 40 and a DC amplifier 42 in series.

    摘要: An oscillation gyroscope 10 includes an oscillator 11 comprising an equilateral triangular prism-shaped vibrating body 12 and piezoelectric elements 14a to 14c. An oscillator circuit 26 including an inverse amplification circuit 28 and a phase circuit 30 is connected between the piezoelectric elements 14a, 14b and the piezoelectric element 14c via resistors 22 and 24. The piezoelectric elements 14a and 14b are connected to a differential amplification circuit 32 and the output signal of a addition signal computing unit 34 is added to the output signal of the differential amplification circuit 32 by an adder 33. A signal of the same phase or an inverse phase with respect to the output signal of the phase circuit 30 or an inverse amplification circuit 28 is level-adjusted and outputted from the addition signal computing unit 34. A composite signal made up of the output signal of the differential amplification circuit 32 and the output signal of the addition signal computing unit 34 is detected by a synchronous detector 36 and smoothed by a smoothing circuit 38.

    摘要: The vibrator includes a columnar vibrating body consisting of a piezoelectric material. The vibrating body is formed into a polygonal or cylindrical column and, when necessary, a through hole is formed axially thereof. Furthermore, the vibrating body is polarized. On side faces of the vibrating body, at least three external electrodes are formed. Also, when the through hole is to be formed, an internal electrode is formed on its inner circumferential surface. By applying the driving signal to these electrodes, the vibrating body bends and vibrates. And, when the rotational angular velocity is applied to the vibrating body about its axis, a coriolis force is produced responsive thereto. By this coriolis force, the vibrating direction of the vibrating body changes, and a voltage is produced between the two external electrodes. By measuring the voltage, the rotational angular velocity applied to the vibrator can be measured.
