    摘要: A gift coupon detectable by a bill sorter, comprising a rectangular paper having a width capable of being inserted into a travelling path of the bill sorter and also having predetermined characters and design, the gift coupon further having: a first data train comprising data units formed by a magnetic ink and arranged in a row at predetermined intervals, and a second data train comprising data units corresponding respectively to the data units of the first data train, formed by a magnetic ink and arranged in a row, data units in predetermined positions of the second data train being cut off to provide blank units to record data required for the gift coupon such as the significance of an amount of money, the name of commodity to be exchanged, etc. according to the arrangement of the blank units, the first and second data trains being disposed in positions capable of being detected by two magnetic detection heads for bill sorting provided in the bill sorter during travel of the gift coupon along the travelling path.

    摘要: A DC power source apparatus converts a DC input voltage into high-frequency power by turning on/off a switching element connected to a primary winding of a transformer and converts the high-frequency power transmitted to a secondary winding of the transformer into a DC output voltage. The primary and secondary windings of the transformer include a core winding set having a primary winding P1 wound around a leg of a core defining a closed magnetic path and a secondary winding externally wound around the primary winding and another core winding set having a primary winding P2 wound around a leg of the core and a secondary winding externally wound around the primary winding. The primary winding of each of the two core winding sets has a plurality of winding layers among which a lowermost one that is closest to the core is connected to the switching element.

    摘要: A durable vacuum opening/closing valve connectable with a vacuum chamber and a vacuum pump is arranged to control vacuum pressure in the vacuum chamber by changing an opening degree of an O ring serving as a valve element relative to a valve seat. A predetermined clearance between an outer peripheral surface of a piston and an inner peripheral surface of a cylinder is sealed by a bellofram which changes its shape in association with movement of the piston moved to open or close the valve. The bellofram includes an inclined surface with a predetermined inclination angle and the outer periphery of the piston includes an inclined surface with a predetermined inclination angle, so that an inner diameter of the bellofram in contact with the piston and the outer diameter of the piston are equal when the valve element is in contact with the valve seat.

    摘要: In order to shorten a time for preliminary original reading which is performed prior to reading of an original image, an image reading apparatus of the present invention scans an original mounted on a platen glass by a scan optical system that moves to the original and reads a scanned image of the original by using a CCD sensor, the apparatus having a function to perform a preliminary original read operation for automatically deciding a density of the original before the reading operation of the original image, wherein the preliminary original reading is performed while the scan optical system in an idling state is moving from a read standby position to an image read operation start position; a white background level correction operation of the CDD sensor is performed after collection of original density data by the preliminary original read operation; and a result of the correction is reflected on the original density data obtained by the preliminary original reading to control the decision of the original density.
