The battery includes a plurality of battery cells that are stacked and a pressure sensor that is configured to detect a pressure caused by swelling of the battery cells. A charger supplies charging power to the battery and a controller determines whether to supply the charging power from the charger and whether the battery is overcharged based on a change in the pressure per hour, detected by the pressure sensor, when the charger supplies the charging power to the battery.

The short-circuit switch is opened in a normal state, and short-circuits when the switch is pressurized due to the swelling of the battery to form a closed circuit with the battery and the safety fuse.

    摘要: Disclosed herein is a battery cooling duct. The duct includes a suction portion disposed between a rear seat and a floor panel of a vehicle, an inlet of the suction portion fluidly communicating with an interior of the vehicle to suction interior air. An extension portion is formed by extending an outlet side of the suction portion to a rear of the vehicle, e.g. a trunk, between the rear seat and the floor panel, and defines a passageway configured to allow the interior air to pass therethrough. A discharge portion extends from an outlet of the extension portion to the rear of the vehicle, and discharges the interior air passed through the extension portion, through an outlet of the discharge portion to the battery of the vehicle.

    摘要: Disclosed is a battery pack assembly including an apparatus for detecting water accumulation inside an installation region in which a battery pack is installed. The battery pack assembly includes a watertight case installed on a bottom surface of the water accumulation detecting apparatus and assembled with the battery pack therein. The water accumulation detecting apparatus includes a body including a water inlet opening through which water accumulated in the installation region flows in. A floating member floated by buoyancy of the water flowing in the body. A switch unit is configured to generate a current when the floating member increases up to or beyond a predetermined height. An elastic member is configured to connect the floating member and the bottom surface of the body so that the floating member is positioned at a predetermined position when buoyancy of the water does not affect to the floating member.
