摘要: If an input voltage to an output control device is above a lower limit value, the output control device operates in a constant voltage control mode for maintaining an output voltage at a substantially constant voltage. If the input voltage of the output control device falls below the lower limit value, the output voltage is controlled to be lower than the constant voltage in the constant voltage control mode, and the output control device operates in a lower limit value sustaining mode for maintaining the input voltage at the lower limit value. Then, the output control device shifts to a current increasing mode in which the output current rises as the output voltage falls.

摘要: The present invention relates to a lamp lighting technique for lighting multiple lamps safely without luminance irregularities. The present lamp lighting circuit includes multiple closed loops wherein a predetermined number of lamps and the secondary windings of the predetermined number of transformers are connected serially. At least one of the primary windings of the transformers employed for each closed loop is connected to the primary winding of the transformer employed for another closed loop serially. Thus, current of the lamps included in the closed loop is made uniform, and also current is made uniform even between the closed loops by connecting the primary windings of the transformers serially. According to the present invention, with regard to serial connection of the primary windings of the transformers, even if the number of transformers is limited, current uniformity can be propagated to the entirety by subjecting closed loops to catenation consecutively.

The head includes a head support member in substantially rectangular cross sectional shape for supporting the ion generation device on a lower side of the rectangular cross sectional shape facing against the recording medium and the driving circuits on side faces of the rectangular cross sectional shape. The ion generation device includes control electrodes having ion passing holes which are arranged such that picture dot to be recorded on the recording medium from each one of the ion passing holes is recorded on a spot around which picture dots already recorded by other ion passing holes are distributed symmetrically on both sides. The control electrodes may have a structure in which a plurality of the ion passing holes are provided with respect to each picture dot to be recorded.

摘要: In a color image sensor, CCD chips having peculiar spectrum distribution characteristics are arranged in two rows on a base with the CCD chips in one row staggered with respect to those in the other row. A pair of convergent rod lens arrays is located between a color document and the array of CCD chips for projecting an image of the document onto the CCD element array. The CCD elements each having a plurality of photosensitive areas with white, yellow and cyan filters, or yellow, green and cyan filters, or red, green and blue filters, provided thereon. A pair of fluorescent lamps for illuminating the document is each provided in the neighborhood of each of the pair rod lens arrays. They have spectrum distribution characteristics not covering wavelengths above 700 nm. One of them has a spectrum distribution characteristic with a peak substantially at 450 nm, and the other has a spectrum distribution characteristic with a peak substantially at 590 nm. The composite spectrum distribution characteristic of the two lamps has peaks substantially at 480 nm and 590 nm, and has no wavelengths above 700 nm.
