摘要: Rotatable plastic rollers are produced by either injecting between a roller shaft and an outer running roller layer a thermoplastic material which, during cooling down, shrinks toward the roller shaft and away from the outer running roller layer on account of a contraction in volume or, in the multi-component injection-molding process, by first injecting the outer running roller layer and then injecting between the latter and the roller shaft a thermoplastic material which then likewise shrinks toward the roller shaft and away from the outer running roller layer. The process produces plastic rollers comprising an inner running roller layer (2), which is bonded solidly with the roller shaft (1), and an outer running roller layer (3), which can rotate freely with respect to said inner layer by means of a sliding gap (6). The roller shaft may optionally also be sheathed with a thermoplastic elastomer. This may take place in the same process during the multi-component injection molding.

摘要: Process for producing a composite article from a polyacetal (component a) with directly molded-on functional elements made from one or more thermoplastic elastomers (component b), and wherein components a and b have differing hardness, and the material with the greater hardness (component a) is initially premolded in a first step in a mold, and then is either cooled and removed from the mold and then placed into another, larger cavity, or is partially removed from the mold, but remains in a portion of the mold, and is then moved to a larger cavity, or, without removal from the mold, remains in the same mold, which is enlarged by means of a movable device, and in a second step, by overmolding with the material with the lesser hardness (component b), the molding formed from component a is firmly bonded to this material and is then removed from the mold as a composite article.

摘要: Composites are described, comprising polyacetal and at least one thermoplastic polyamide elastomer formed by a polyacetal molding which has been partially or completely coated with the thermoplastic polyamide elastomer or onto which one or more moldings composed of the thermoplastic polyamide elastomer have been directly molded. The composites are characterized in that the polyacetal and the thermoplastic polyamide elastomer have been bonded adhesively or cohesively to one another via injection of the polyamide elastomer onto the polyacetal molding, and in that the tensile bond strength between the polyacetal and the thermoplastic polyamide elastomer is at least 0.5 N/mm2. The composites may be used as connectors, as functional components with integrated sealing properties and/or with integrated damping properties, or else as non-slip and easy-grip elements.

摘要: Composite products are described and encompass at least one polyacetal molding and at least one polyolefin molding, which have been bonded at at least one of their surfaces using an adhesion-promoting layer which is substantially composed of a copolymer or of a mixture of these which derives from at least one alpha-olefin and from at least one ethylenically unsaturated carboxylic acid, and/or from at least one ethylenically unsaturated carboxylic acid derivative, where the molar ratio of alpha-olefin to ethylenically unsaturated carboxylic acid and/or to ethylenically unsaturated carboxylic acid derivative is selected so as to obtain composites with a bond strength (measured by the tensile test at 23° C.) of at least 0.2 N/mm2.The composite products described can in particular be used for producing components which come into contact with fuels.
