摘要： A fiber for lateral beaming of a laser beam, wherein an affected portion in a cavity of an internal organ in a living body is irradiated by the laser beam in a through-endoscopic manner. The fiber for lateral beaming of the laser beam is constructed such that a transparent tubular member is coupled to the forward end portion of a fiber through two coating layers, and an anti-reflection coating layer is formed on a laser beam exiting surface of the transparent tubular member. Owing to the anti-reflection coating layer, this fiber for lateral beaming is free from the harmful leaking beam. Since the transparent tubular member is connected to the fiber through the two coating layes, the fiber can avoid being broken.

When filling the cavity with the thermoplastic resin, an electromagnetic wave generator is used, and electromagnetic waves having an intensity peak in a wavelength region of 0.78 to 2 μm are irradiated to the thermoplastic resin from the surface of the mold, and thereby the thermoplastic resin is heated selectively from the mold. The thermoplastic resin is an ABS resin which either a noncrystalline thermoplastic resin, or is a rubber modified thermoplastic resin.

摘要： A rotary joint and a housing for a rotary joint include an insertion hole for receiving a rotary shaft, a plurality of housing segments arranged along the shaft, and a housing communicating hole formed in at least one of the housing segments. An annular groove permits communication between the shaft communicating hole and the housing communicating hole. An annular leakage-preventing member between the shaft and the housing blocks fluid movement in an axial direction of the shaft. The shaft includes a cylindrical shaft portion and a small-diameter portion formed at one end. At least one pair of rotating supports support the shaft and the housing. One of the rotating supports is disposed on the small-diameter portion. An outside diameter of one of the rotating supports is smaller than an outside diameter of the shaft and also is smaller than inside diameters of the plurality of housing segments.
