    摘要: A fuel injection system employing continuous injection into the induction manifold for varying the fuel-air ratio during the warm-up phase of the engine. A pivoting flap responds to the air flow through the induction tube and rotates a metering valve core. Openings in this valve core cooperate with openings in the valve cylinder to form a metering valve aperture of variable cross-section. The pressure differential across this aperture influences the metered fuel quantity and this pressure differential can be varied during the warm-up phase of the engine. The variation in the pressure differential is accomplished by heating a bi-metallic spring which disengages from the closure element of a diaphragm valve, increasing the closing bias thereof. The resulting increase in fuel pressure downstream of the metering aperture displaces a piston which removes the additional biasing force on another diaphragm valve, permitting the reduction of fuel pressure upstream of the metering aperture with the net effect of a reduction of the pressure differential across the metering aperture and a corresponding reduction of the metered fuel quantity, i.e., a leaning out of the fuel-air mixture.

    摘要: A fuel injection device for mixture compressing, externally ignited internal combustion engines, which serves to meter the fuel proportional to the intake air and aspirates the air-fuel mixture. The fuel injection device includes an air flow rate meter located downstream of a butterfly valve in the air induction tube. The bearing shaft of the air flow rate meter includes a fuel metering valve which can be activated directly by the air flow rate meter. To correct the air-fuel mixture because of air density downstream of the butterfly valve, the fuel injection device is so arranged, that when the butterfly valve is in its idling and full load positions a rich air-fuel mixture can be regulated, and when the butterfly valve is in a partial load position a lean mixture can be regulated.

    摘要: A fuel injection system utilized with an engine having pre-combustion chambers, main combustion chambers, a fuel metering and quantity distribution valve, a suction tube and an air measuring member are described in further detail hereinafter. The fuel metering and quantity distribution valve has a control slide member which is controlled in its displacement by the air measuring member. The control slide member controls the fuel metered to the engine. The fuel metering and quantity distribution valve has a first differential pressure valve associated therewith which maintains the pressure difference between the fuel pressure prevailing upstream and downstream of the fuel metering location constant during injection. Structure is provided to change the pressure difference in dependence on engine parameters.

    摘要: A fuel injection system for externally ignited internal combustion engines preferably has one fuel injection location in the air induction tube (manifold). The metering of fuel occurs independently of the condition of the air prevailing at the injection location, the injection location is disposed ahead of the junction of the air induction tube which leads to the individual engine cylinders. Air is brought to a high velocity by means within the induction tube and impinges, at this high velocity, immediately on the injected fuel, enveloping the same. As a result, the mixture preparation is effected without wetting of the inner wall of the induction tube and the means which bring the air to the required high velocity.

    摘要: An electromagnetically actuatable fuel injection valve which serves to supply fuel to a mixture-compressing internal combustion engine having externally supplied ignition. The fuel injection valve includes a valve housing with a mouth piece in which a valve seat body is disposed, two magnet coils two cores and one armature, which has a spherical guide section and is connected to a valve needle. The spherical guide section is slidably supported with its circumference in a guide bore of the valve seat body and in its stroke movement away from the core is limited by a tapering stop opening which adjoins the guide bore. A plastic bushing is mounted on a guide step of the valve seat body and is pressed by a spring against the core end face, thereby preventing a dirct flow of fuel to the remnant air gap on the armature, as a result of which the depositing of soil particles in the gap is avoided.

    摘要: A magnetic injection valve for injecting fuel into the intake tract of internal combustion machines, which is distinguished by particularly good internal cooling. A magnetic coil wound onto a coil carrier is located in the valve, being introduced into a valve housing and surrounds a ferromagnetic core. The core acts upon an armature which is connected to a movable valve needle. A bushing in the core and a sleeve located outside the core are arranged such that the fuel, emerging from an inflow tract of a supply device flows via the sleeve serving as a fuel line and reaches the interior of the valve housing that receives the magnetic coil; after flowing virtually completely around the magnetic coil, the fuel leaves this interior via a bore and flows back between the bushing and the core as far as the end of the bushing, and then flows on through the bushing to reach the armature to flow on to the valve seat. For better cooling of the magnetic coil, flow conduits are machined into the coil holder such that the fuel flow virtually surrounds the coil.

    摘要: An electromagnetically actuatable valve which serves in particular to inject fuel into the intake tube of internal combustion engines operating with fuel injection systems. The fuel injection valve includes a valve housing, a shell core having a magnetic winding and a flat armature, which is firmly connected with a valve element which passes through a central guide opening in a guide diaphragm and cooperates with a fixed valve seat. The guide diaphragm has a fastening zone and together with the central guide opening cut out of a centering zone of the guide diaphragm guides the valve element in the radial direction toward the valve seat. The fastening zone is connected via struts with an annular guide zone on which the flat armature, under spring tension, rests with a concentric guide edge and is guided in a plane parallel to the end face of the shell core. The centering zone of the guide diaphragm is connected in turn via struts with the guide zone.

    摘要: An electromagnetically actuatable valve which serves in particular to inject fuel into the intake tube of internal combustion engines operating with fuel injection. The fuel injection valve includes a valve housing, a shell core with a magnetic winding, and a flat armature which is firmly connected to a valve element having a tubular section and a spherical section. A guide diaphragm attached to the housing engages a guide edge of the flat armature in an elastic manner and guides the flat armature parallel to the end face of the shell core. The coaxial guidance of the spherical section relative to the valve seat is effected by means of guide faces of a guide ring. As a result, the movable valve element can have an elongated embodiment, and the fuel injection can be effected at any desired location of the intake tube, while the valve simultaneously requires little installation space.

    摘要: A method for preventing damage to a temperature-dependent resistor disposed in a flow cross-section caused by overheating as a result of the ignition of a combustible, gaseous mixture during a burnoff process and an air flow rate measuring device for performing the method are proposed. The air flow rate measuring device includes a temperature-dependent resistor disposed in a bypass line. Deposits on the surface of the temperature-dependent resistor are removed in a burnoff process, preferably following the opening of the ignition switch. The danger then exists that if the device is used in a motor vehicle, combustible fuel-air mixture located in the vicinity of the temperature-dependent resistor may ignite, and the temperature-dependent resistor would thereby be destroyed because of overheating. For this reason, a slide member is pushed into the flow cross-section during the burnoff process, so that only a small combustible volume is available in the vicinity of the temperature-dependent resistor.

    摘要: A lambda regulating device is proposed for a fuel metering system in an internal combustion engine with externally supplied ignition. In addition to the regulation means which is already present, multiplicative and additive corrective variables are formed and are stored in non-transient memories. The regulating device enables an additive regulated shutoff of the additive lambda shift during idling and in the lower partial-load range, and it also enables regulation to a symmetrical distance on the part of the regulating manipulation from the limitation. The additive correction may be selected to be in accordance with rpm. Finally, the reference variables for the corrective value may be selected depending upon the air throughput in the intake tube of the engine. With a view to realization of the invention by means of a computer, individual flow diagrams relating to the mode of operation are given in the drawings.
