The first power supplies are mounted to a central and the opposite side for predetermined arrays, serve as a main and an auxiliary power supply to provide main and auxiliary power (smaller than the main power), and provide distantly arranged two of the multiple arrays forming a memory bank with power.

Pad lines are placed on the peripheral region of a chip along EAST band and WEST band (E/W band). In order to allow the chip with pads arranged on the peripheral region to be adaptable to a TSOP, VDD and VSS pads are arranged on the edge region on NORTH band and SOUTH band (N/S band) near the center of the N/S band. Moreover, in consideration of frame design for the TSOP, some pads on the ends of the pad lines among the pads included in the pad lines are arranged in reverse order relative to the order of pins. Further, VDDQ and VSSQ pads are arranged in the same order as that of pins for a package which requires no consideration of frame design. On the other hand, for use in a BGA package, VDD and VSS pads are arranged in pairs at respective ends of the pad lines. A semiconductor memory device with this pad arrangement is accordingly adaptable to various types of packages.

An image capture apparatus which is compact and structurally simple and allows for prevention of a flicker noise, a method of capturing an image which allows for prevention of a flicker noise, and a mobile terminal using the apparatus and the method, are provided. In the image capture apparatus, a vertical cycle is adjusted so as to maintain 20 fps or 20/2m (m is an integer) fps, thereby to prevent a flicker noise in an image as obtained. To this end, in the image capture apparatus, a frequency of a horizontal transfer clock, a horizontal count level and a vertical line count level may be adjusted. Further, a fraction count is provided to adjust the length of one vertical cycle. Moreover, the image capture apparatus may be incorporated in a mobile terminal.

A fluorescent gas analyzer for analyzing gases by the fluorescence method. A flashtube which is operated in its pulse mode is used as a light source. First and second optical detectors respectively detect light of a first and second wavelength range, the light of the first wavelength range being emitted by the light source and the light of the second wavelength range being emitted from a gas sample irradiated by the light source. A pair of integrators respectively integrate the outputs of the first and second detectors. Processing means, including sample and hold circuits and a synchronous detector, are used to further process the signals so that the system output is independent of deterioration of the light source and fluctuations in the strength of the light source output and independent of stray capacitance effects.
