Abstract: A method and system for enabling an autonomous vehicle detection process is provided. The method includes detecting a sensor reading, of a sensor integrated with an autonomous vehicle, exceeding a specified threshold value. Additional sensor reading from additional vehicles located within a specified distance of the autonomous vehicle are received and compared to the original sensor reading. In response, a fault condition associated with the sensor is determined and an associated notification is presented to an occupant of the autonomous vehicle.

Abstract: Techniques are described with respect to addressing at least one sensor abnormality associated with a vehicle. An associated method includes receiving a first measurement value from a first sensor among a plurality of sensors associated with a vehicle and receiving a second measurement value from a second sensor among the plurality of sensors. The method further includes identifying at least one sensor abnormality based upon an inconsistency between the first measurement value and the second measurement value. In an embodiment, the at least one sensor abnormality results from at least one sensor defect, at least one vehicle security fault, or a combination thereof. The method further includes completing at least one predefined action to address the at least one sensor abnormality.

Abstract: One example of a computer-implemented method of adjusting vehicle sensitivity comprises receiving, at a first vehicle, a vehicle profile of a second vehicle. The vehicle profile of the second vehicle correlates measured responses of one or more actuators on the second vehicle to measured user control inputs on the second vehicle. The method further comprises receiving a user control input for the first vehicle; and modifying a response of one or more actuators on the first vehicle to the received user control input based on the received vehicle profile of the second vehicle such that the one or more actuators on the first vehicle mimic the one or more actuators on the second vehicle.

Abstract: A method and system for automatically controlling a vehicle is provided. The method includes generating an original route of travel for a first vehicle for travel from an original location to a destination location. The vehicle is directed from the original location to the destination location such that the vehicle initiates motion and navigates the original route of travel towards the destination location in accordance with the original route of travel. Monitored vehicular attributes of the first vehicle are received and environmental attributes associated with the original route of travel are monitored with respect the first vehicle. Navigational issues associated with the vehicle traveling along the original route of travel are determined based on the monitored vehicular attributes and results of monitoring the environmental attributes. The navigational issues are used to determine if the vehicle should continue to travel along the original route of travel.

Abstract: In response to determining that performance data of device operation by an operating user meets a safety requirement, embodiments determine a degree of deviation of a performance data value from a baseline pattern of good performance values defined for the user; in response to determining that the degree of deviation of the operating data value meets a cognitive assessment threshold, administer a cognitive aptitude test challenge to the user selected from baseline aptitude profile data of challenges previously responded to by the user; and execute a corrective action that reduces a risk of loss in response to determining that a degree of deviation of a value of a response provided by the user to the cognitive test challenge from a performance metric value of the baseline aptitude profile data meets a threshold cognitive assessment threshold.
