Abstract:
A horizontal type scroll compressor includes a motor housing with a driving motor therein, a main scroll coupled to one side of the motor housing and having a fixed wrap for forming compression chambers, an orbiting scroll having an orbiting wrap and coupled to a crankshaft inserted through the main scroll, the orbiting scroll forming a first compression chamber and a second compression chamber on an outer surface and an inner surface of the orbiting wrap while performing an orbiting motion, and a front housing hermetically coupled to the main scroll. With the configuration, the number of components and assembly parts may be reduced, resulting in reduction of fabricating costs. Also, an inclination of the orbiting scroll can be prevented as the crankshaft is inserted through the fixed wrap and the orbiting wrap.
Abstract:
A high-voltage connector assembly and a motor-operated compressor including the same are disclosed. The high-voltage connector assembly according to embodiments disclosed herein may include a cover defining an outer appearance and a shielding plate designed to shield an electrical noise signal. The cover and the shielding plate may be integrally formed by a double shot molding or insert injection molding. Accordingly, manufacturing time and costs of the cover and the shielding plate may be reduced. In addition, the cover and the shielding plate may be coupled to each other in a more stable manner. Further an outer circumferential portion of the shielding plate may have a higher roughness than the cover. Alternatively, the outer circumferential portion of the shielding plate may be provided with a plate protrusion or an uneven portion. Accordingly, a contact area between the shielding plate and the cover may be increased.
Abstract:
Systems and techniques are disclosed to sense a temperature and a flow rate of oil in a compressor. A compressor includes: a casing; a frame on the casing; a fixed scroll on the frame; an orbiting scroll supported by the frame and defining a compression chamber while engaging the fixed scroll; and a crank shaft. The crank shaft transfers, to the orbiting scroll, a rotational force of a motor. The casing includes: a main housing including a refrigerant discharge passage and an oil passing passage; and a sub-housing including a refrigerant discharge port and an oil channel, which includes an oil reservoir, that each face the main housing. A sensor module attached to a sensor receptor in the sub-housing includes: a sensor housing covering the sensor receptor; and an oil sensor and a temperature sensor located on the sensor housing that each protrude towards the oil reservoir.
Abstract:
A vehicle having an integrated function of assisting an engine and compressing a refrigerant includes a motor unit and a compression unit coupled within a housing, and a first clutch unit coupled to a rotation shaft of the motor unit or a rotation shaft of the compression unit and that connects or releases a driving force of an engine and a driving force of the motor unit.
Abstract:
A horizontal type scroll compressor includes a main scroll through which a crankshaft is rotatably inserted, the main scroll having a fixed wrap formed on a front surface thereof, and an orbiting scroll coupled to the crankshaft inserted through the main scroll and having an orbiting wrap. A discharge port is formed toward one side surface in an axial direction of the main scroll facing a driving motor. A guide member is coupled to the one side surface of the main scroll, and has a discharge guide portion accommodating the discharge port.

A guide member is coupled to the one side surface of the main scroll, and has a discharge guide portion accommodating the discharge port therein for guiding a refrigerant into the inner space of the casing. This may allow the discharge port to be formed the closest to an axial center, thereby reducing a dead volume and a size of the compressor. Also, with the crankshaft inserted through the fixed wrap and the orbiting wrap, an inclination of the orbiting scroll can be prevented.
