Abstract: An oil pump device includes an oil pump (10) and an electrically operated control valve (20). The valve adjusts hydraulic pressures to be applied to a decrease-side control pressure chamber (15A) for causing a pump casing (14) to swing in the discharge amount decrease direction and an increase-side control pressure chamber (15B) for causing the pump casing to swing in the discharge amount increase direction so as to hold the pump casing at a predetermined approximately intermediate position between the maximum swing position in the discharge amount decrease direction and the maximum swing position in the discharge amount increase direction by balancing the urging forces of a decrease-side return spring (16) for urging the pump casing in the discharge amount decrease direction and an increase-side return spring (17) for urging the pump casing in the discharge amount increase direction when supply of current to the valve is stopped.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is an oil supply device for an internal combustion engine, which includes a control unit that controls activation of an electric oil pump and that functions as either a reserve oil level estimator for estimating the level of oil reserved in auxiliary chambers or a reserve oil level detector for detecting the level of the oil reserved there. When it is estimated or detected that the level of the oil reserved in the auxiliary chambers has become equal to or less than a predetermined reserve oil level while the internal combustion engine is OFF, the control unit performs an oil replenishment control to replenish the auxiliary chambers with the oil by activating the electric oil pump.

Abstract: An engine oil supply apparatus includes: an oil pump; an oil supply path which supplies oil to a hydraulic operating section of an engine; an oil cooler which is provided on the oil supply path and which cools oil discharged from the oil pump; and a control apparatus which sets a required oil pressure required from the hydraulic operating section in accordance with an operation state of the engine, as a target oil pressure, and controls the discharge amount of the oil pump so that an oil pressure inside the oil supply path equals the target oil pressure. The control apparatus controls the oil pump so that, during an operation state of the engine where the oil enters a prescribed high oil temperature state, the oil is discharged in an amount exceeding a discharge amount corresponding to the required oil pressure of the hydraulic operating section.
