    摘要: In an industrial robot having a plurality of arms, each arm is coupled with other elements, such as a mounting base, another arm, a robotic hand, and revolved by a motion of the revolvable joint. The revolvable joint has a rotary electric connecting structure such as a slip ring or a rotary transformer which can be rotated endlessly. Electric powers for driving motors by which the arms are revolved and control signals for controlling the driving of the motors are supplied or transmitted through the rotary electric connecting structure, so that the arms can be rotated endlessly without twisting or breaking of electric cables.

    摘要: There is disclosed a method of testing and verifying a performance for insulation to ground of a disconnecting switch when breaking a charging current. This disconnecting switch has a movable electrode and a fixed electrode which are arranged in a tank so as to face each other. One of these electrodes is connected to an electrostatic capacity load and the other is connected to a power supply. This test method comprises the steps of: applying a voltage from the power supply through the disconnecting switch to the load to cause the voltage to be trapped in the load; and applying a voltage of the polarity opposite to that of the trapped charged voltage from the power supply to the disconnecting switch to cause the discharge between those electrodes, thereby verifying the performance for insulation to ground.

    摘要: A rewritable read only memory (ROM) file device having a special area storing a directory, a file allocation table, and a rewritable area. An access controller copies the content of the special area into a buffer by an initialization process. After the initialization process, the access controller converts subsequent access requests to the special area of the ROM file device into an access to the buffer. The access controller detects a termination of a use of the ROM file device and, in response, returns the data stored in the buffer to the device's special area.

A modulator for N series synthesizes a predetermined number (n) of PN code series selected from N PN code series in response to m bits in the input data, and the synthesized code series is transmitted onto a transmission medium through a transmitting interface. The PN code series which is actually transmitted has a maximum value of the absolute magnitude of auto-correlation which is always greater than a maximum value of the absolute value of cross-correlations between the remaining synthesized PN code series.

    摘要: The present invention provides new arrangements for various components of a CSK communication system: modulator, correlators, demodulator, carrier detection circuit, and synchronization control circuit. The various improvements provide more accurate demodulation of data from the received signal in the presence of noise and signal deterioration. A modulator configuration permits the CSK system to use two M series codes in which the second code is simply a phase shifted version of the first code. The PN correlators, via shift-registers, efficiently output two correlation signals. The demodulator accepts two correlation signals from the correlators, detects auto-correlation peaks in the correlation signals, and uses the peaks to accurately determine whether the received bit has a value of "1" or "0". The carrier detecting circuit detects the presence of data in the received signal. A carrier detecting circuit conveniently allows demodulation of data without exact synchronization of the center of demodulator's monitoring window to auto-correlation peaks. The synchronization control circuit generates accurate timing pulses that mark the start and end of each data bit. If auto-correlation peaks appear consistently in one location for the duration of N consecutive data bits, subsequent timing pulses are delayed in accordance with weighted averages of the stored locations of auto-correlation peaks. In one embodiment, separate correlation signal monitoring windows for demodulation and synchronization tracking may be set independently of each other, enabling the demodulator to clearly distinguish between an actual auto-correlation peaks and an inter-correlation peak, and the synchronization control circuit to attain stability by "averaging" out temporal effects of noise.

The lead lines include tip end portions electrically connected to the respective electricity-collecting rings. Two or more of the lead lines include shielded lines.

    摘要: This invention is directed to various improvements in spread spectrum power line communications. One aspect of the invention relates to collision avoidance between varius "slave" unit transmitters trying to send messages to a single "master" unit receiver by detecting whether the transmission path is in use and refraining from transmitting if it is. Other aspects of the invention relate to controlling the frequencies of spread spectrum data messages transmitted, using gold codes to identify the slave units, and switching frequency bands on the powe line to avoid frequencies where there has been a deterioration of transmission. In each embodiment, the signal modulated over the power line is modulated by a signal which is synchronous with A.C. power flowing through the power line used for communications. The transmitted spread spectrum modulated signal then may be demodulated to isolate the transmitted data even when changes in the transmission characteristics of the power line (due to load changes and the like) occur.
