    摘要: An apparatus for controlling steering of wheels of a vehicle comprises a control means, a driving means, and an actuator means. The control means comprises a feed forward signal operating means, a feed back signal operating means for generating signals for variables representing vehicle behaviors and output from a vehicle behavior sensor, and a control signal operating means for calculating a difference or sum of the signals output from the feed forwad and feedback signal operating means. The feed forward signal operating means comprises a steering angle signal circuit, a steering angular velocity signal operating circuit, a steering angle signal operating circuit having a first coefficient circuit for multiplying a steering angle signal with a coefficient, and an adder for adding the outputs from the steering angle signal circuit, the steering angle signal operating circuit, and the steering angular velocity operating circuit. A behavior correction capacity against a side wind or disturbance is very high, and a steering system can be controlled to shorten the response time for changes in vehicle behaviors with respect to a steering input, thereby providing optimal steering. The control means further comprises a gain changing means to supply optimal coefficients to the feed forward and feedback signal operating means.

    摘要: A vehicle driving condition detection device is adapted to detect a vehicle running along a banked or laterally sloping road, as well as a lateral acceleration, and sideslip angle with good accuracy. The sideslip angle is estimated at a vehicle-body sideslip angle estimating circuit based on a steering angle &dgr;f, a lateral acceleration ÿ, a yaw rate {dot over (&thgr;)}, and a vehicle speed V. In addition, using a differentiating device, the estimated sideslip angle is differentiated to calculate a slip angular velocity. A subtracting device is provided at which a deviation is calculated between the slip angular velocity and a slip angular velocity detected at a slip angular velocity calculating circuit. The deviation can detect a banked or laterally sloping road due to the fact that the detected slip angular velocity at the slip angular velocity calculating circuit includes the gravity acceleration component that depends on the slope or bank of the road. Upon detecting a banked or sloping road, a deviation &Dgr;ÿ (={dot over (&thgr;)}·V−ÿ) is outputted from a switching device, and at a subtracting device the detected lateral acceleration ÿ is corrected by being subtracted with the deviation &Dgr;ÿ. On the basis of the resultant or corrected lateral acceleration ÿ, the vehicle-body sideslip angle is estimated. Such an estimation is made irrespective of the slope or bank of the road.

    摘要: A battery state estimating unit estimates an internal state of a secondary battery in accordance with a battery model equation in every arithmetic cycle, and estimates a charging rate and a battery current based on a result of the estimation. A parameter estimating unit obtains a battery current measured by a sensor as well as the charging rate and the battery current estimated by the battery state estimating unit. The parameter estimating unit estimates a capacity deterioration parameter such that a rate of change in difference (estimation error) between a summed value of an actual current and a summed value of an estimated current with respect to the charging rate is minimized. A result obtained by estimating the capacity deterioration parameter is reflected in the battery model by the battery state estimating unit.

According to this configuration, the number of man-hours required for production thereof is reduced, and if operation conditions change, the size of a discharge opening can be easily changed.
