摘要: Provided are a substrate for cartilage cultivation, which exhibits high safety and has a growth promoting effect on cartilage cells, and a method for cartilage regeneration treatment. The substrate for cartilage cultivation containing artificial collagen, in particular, an artificial collagen aqueous solution has a growth promoting effect on cartilage cells. A cartilage regeneration effect is obtained by the intraarticular injection of the substrate in and around a cartilage defect site.

摘要: It is intended to evaluate the prognosis of rheumatoid arthritis based on the evaluation of the disease severity of the patient to select a treatment method suitable for each rheumatoid arthritis patients, and to measure HSC71 protein levels of the patients before and after the administrations of therapeutic agents to determine the efficacy of various therapeutic agents for each of rheumatoid arthritis patients, and to use thereof as a remedy for preventing onset and progression of rheumatoid arthritis. It has been revealed that whether HSC71 (heat shock cognate protein 71), which is a member of the heat shock protein 70 family, shows any difference in expression between rheumatoid arthritis patients and healthy subjects. In the case where the HSC71 protein is accelerated in a rheumatoid arthritis patient the HSC71 concentrations in the serum, synovial fluid, serebrospinal fluid, urine, saliva and sputum of the patient are measured to thereby examine the disease severity of rheumatoid arthritis. Based thereon, the prognosis of the rheumatoid arthritis is evaluated and a method suitable for the patient is selected. HSC71 protein levels are measured before and after the administration of therapeutic agents to a rheumatoid arthritis patient and the efficacy of the therapeutic agents are determined. Further, Use as a remedy or preventing the onset and progression of rheumatoid arthritis is intended.

摘要: A noise removing filter removes noise from an input image and an edge component extracting unit extracts edge components. The edge components are extracted by calculating a difference between the input image and a smoothed image, which is obtained by smoothing the input image in a smoothed image generating portion. An edge component comparing unit compares the extracted edge components with a threshold value and a sum calculating unit calculates the sum of the edge components greater than the threshold value. A control circuit determines the enhancement degree of the edges based on the sum and averaged luminance of the input image calculated by an average luminance calculating unit. An enhancement degree adjustment unit adjusts the determined enhancement degree, and an edge component enhancement unit enhances the edge components based on this enhancement degree and adds it to the input image to perform edge enhancement processing.

摘要: A method for molding an in-mold coating product including a substrate and a coating formed on a surface of the substrate. A first mold including a fixed mold piece is closed to form a substrate cavity therein. The substrate cavity is charged with a resin to form the substrate with a seal projection formed near the parting line of the first mold. Then, a second mold, which uses the fixed mold piece of the first mold, is closed with the substrate arranged on the fixed mold piece to form a coating cavity therein. The second mold deforms the seal projection so that when a coating material is charged into the coating cavity, the coating material does not leak out toward the parting line of the second mold.

摘要: A first storage system that has a first storage device comprises a first interface device that is connected to a second interface device that a second storage system has. A first controller of the first storage system reads system information elements of first system information (information relating to the constitution and control of the first storage system) from a first system area (a storage area that is not provided for the host of the first storage device) and transfers the system information elements or modified system information elements to the second storage system via the first interface device. The system information elements are recorded in a second system area in a second storage device that the second storage system has.
