    摘要: A lever fitting-type connector includes a first connector on which a fitting detection member is slidably mounted a second connector, which is adapted to be fitted into the first connector, and a connecting lever which is provided on either one of the first and second connectors for operating the first and second connectors from a provisionally fitted condition to a completely fitted condition to each other. The fitting detection member slides to a lock position so that the fitting detection member is engaged with a first engagement hole of the connecting lever to lock the connecting lever in the completely fitted condition. When the fitting detection member is positioned at the lock position, a lock confirmation portion of the fitting detection member is projected from both of the first engagement hole and a distal end face of the connecting lever.

    摘要: An X-ray absorber layer in the form of single layer of high melting point metal such as Ta, W is formed with granular crystal grains on a mask substrate, so that an internal stress of the layer is reduced. A fine pattern is formed from the absorber layer by reactive sputter etching using CBrF.sub.3 gas as an etchant, so that an X-ray absorber pattern is formed on the mask substrate. The X-ray lithography mask thus fabricated has a fine pattern such as submicron pattern with a high degree of pattern contrast and a high dimensional accuracy.

    摘要: A multi-spindle machine tool having separately and vertically movable first and second spindle units which are mounted on a main body thereof movable toward and away from a workpiece. A first vertically movable table is supported by a pair of guide rails provided on a frontal surface of the main body opposing to the workpiece. The first vertically movable table can be ascended and descended by a first actuator. A second vertically movable table is supported by a pair of guide rails provided on a frontal surface of the first vertically movable table opposing to the workpiece. The second vertically movable table can be ascended and descended by a second actuator. The first and second spindle units are fixed onto the first and second vertically movable tables respectively. Thus, the area of the first vertically movable table to be supported by the main body can be set to a relatively large value and the rigidity of the first vertically movable table can be kept effectively. Further, the rigidity of the second vertically movable table can also be ensured, thereby making it possible to reliably hold the first and second spindle units and to efficiently carry out various machining processes.

    摘要: When a charging lid is manually opened or closed, a rotatable shaft is rotated thereby. At this time, a second rotary member rotates about the rotatable shaft and moves axially along the rotatable shaft. Balls are released from engagement recesses defined in the second rotary member, disengaging a first rotary member from the second rotary member. The charging lid can thus easily manually be opened or closed. When the rotatable shaft is rotated a given angle, a sensor detects the angular displacement of the rotatable shaft and outputs a detected signal. In response to the detected signal, a motor is energized to rotate the rotatable shaft to forcibly open or close the charging lid.

    摘要: A test pin unit that allows a test-pin replacement at a substantially low cost. The test pin unit has a coil spring, a movable member, a retaining member, and a test pin. The movable member is capable of moving within a predetermined distance along a predetermined reference axis. The coil spring forces the movable member toward the distal end of the predetermined reference axis. The retaining member retains the test pin substantially in parallel to the reference axis in a removable manner and is integrally mounted on the movable member. In addition, the retaining member has a housing part to hold a part of the test pin and at least one screw provided on the periphery of the housing part. The test pin is fixed on the housing part by housing the part of the test pin and then securing the part of the test pin on the housing part by the screw.

    摘要: An apparatus for displaying the charging of the battery of an electric vehicle has a charging connector mounted on an outer panel of a vehicle body of the electric vehicle, a lid openably mounted on the panel in covering relation to the charging connector and a cavity defined in the outer panel, and a display panel disposed in the cavity for displaying a period of time required until the battery is fully charged and/or a charged capacity of the battery. The driver of the electric vehicle can easily recognize the remaining time required until the battery is fully charged and a percentage of the fully charged capacity of the battery to which the battery is presently charged, from outside of the electric vehicle. The driver is not required to confirm the state of charge of the battery with an indicator on a battery charger or within the passenger's compartment of the electric vehicle, but can easily confirm the state of charge of the battery from outside of the electric vehicle.

    摘要: A displacement detector for enabling a precise detection of a displaced quantity of the core. The displacement detector is provided with a displaceable core, a detecting coil the inductance of which varies in response to a displaced quantity and a reference resistor, wherein a transient response voltage in case of a pulse voltage being applied to the inductance and the reference resistor is detected to enable detection of the absolute value of the inductance and thereby the change in the inductance which corresponds to the displaced quantity is detected independently of the peak value or the frequency of the pulse voltage. The displacement detector is preferably used in a torque sensor for an electric powered steering system, wherein the core of the displacement detector is formed of nonmagnetic metal material, the structure is simple, and a sensitive detection of a displaced quantity of the steering torque is possible.
