摘要: A liquid jet recording head such as an ink jet recording head has liquid passages having liquid outlets through which a recording liquid is discharged in the form of jet of droplet, and electro-thermal transducers for generating heat which produce energy for discharging the liquid in response to inputted electric signals. The electro-thermal transducer has a heat-generating resistance layer which is made of an amorphous material containing halogen atoms and hydrogen atoms in a matrix of carbon atoms. Disclosed also is a recording system incorporating this recording head. The amorphous material can further contain silicon atoms and/or germanium atoms.

摘要: An electronic component includes a lead wire, a functional element, and an outer housing. The lead wire includes a leader electrode made of metal containing aluminum, a metal wire containing tin, and a welded section formed by welding a first end of the metal wire to a first end of the leader electrode. A second end of the leader electrode is connected to the functional element. The outer housing seals the functional element therein such that a second end of the metal wire is led out therefrom. The lead wire further includes a resin film coating the welded section at least at a portion not covered with the outer housing. Resin material for the resin film has pierce strength of 0.05 MPa/μm per unit thickness or greater and an elastic coefficient of 10 GPa or less.

摘要: A control device receives an output signal from a liquid level sensor disposed in an anode chamber. This output signal indicates whether the liquid level of the electrolytic bath in the anode chamber is higher than a reference level. When the liquid level of the electrolytic bath in the anode chamber is higher than the reference level, the control device increases, by a prescribe value, the frequency of a compressor driving voltage that is generated in an inverter circuit. This increases the rotational speed of a motor in the compressor, increases the discharge pressure of hydrogen gas being discharged from the compressor, and decreases the pressure inside the cathode chamber. As a result, the liquid level of the electrolytic bath in the cathode chamber rises, and the liquid level of the electrolytic bath in the anode chamber falls below the reference level.
