Abstract:
A fiber composite material in which short fibers, such as polyester short fibers, are added to a matrix, such as a cross-linked rubber matrix, is provided, wherein a heat shrinkage ratio of the short fibers is 8% or less at fiber composite material molding temperatures of 140 to 200.degree. C. Also provided is a pneumatic tire in whose tire tread the fiber composite material is used. Such pneumatic tires include pneumatic tires provided with a foamed rubber layer in a tire tread. The foamed rubber layer has an average cell diameter of 10 to 120 .mu.m and an expansion ratio of 3 to 50%. A solid phase rubber portion of the foamed rubber layer includes 5 to 55 parts by weight of carbon black, 55 to 5 parts by weight of silica, and 1 to 15 parts by weight of short fibers to 100 parts by weight of a diene-base rubber component including 70 to 20 parts by weight of natural rubber and 30 to 80 parts by weight of polybutadiene rubber. A surface of the tire tread has a hardness of 52 or less at 0.degree. C. The short fibers have a length which is from 0.5 to 3 mm and which is shorter than a minimum gap between sipes of a tire surface, a diameter of 30 to 100 .mu.m, an aspect ratio of 5 to 100, and a heat shrinkage ratio of 8% or less at 140 to 200.degree. C. On-ice performance of the pneumatic tire of the present invention is excellent.
Abstract:
It is an object of the present invention to increase the game operability, and to increase the feeling of pressure and feeling of actual presence on the scene, by making it possible to display partial enlarged images of the scope displays or each of a plurality of players in a manner that allows mutual influence on the screen on which the game images are displayed. The apparatus of the present invention is a video game apparatus in which the game is caused to proceed by shooting with four imitation guns 30 from the front surface of a display part 11 on which game images are displayed; in this apparatus, respective enlarged images are created and displayed from an infrared camera 40 that can detect in a discriminating manner respective light spots on the screen from the laser light emitters 32 of the respective imitation guns 30, and positional data of the images displayed in regions that include the light spots corresponding to partial regions that include the respective light spots on the screen of the display part 11.
Abstract:
A semiconductor integrated circuit device is responsive to a potential level applied to a signal pad connected to a mode changer, and the mode changer causes a mode selector to change a control signal between a first level indicative of a certain combination of sub-circuits of a main circuit selected before separation of the semiconductor chip from a master slice and a second level indicative of another combination of the sub-circuits not selected by a customer; when the manufacturer evaluates the semiconductor integrated circuit device, the manufacturer changes the potential level at the signal pad, and carries out a test for the certain combination and another combination; when the semiconductor chip is sealed in a package, the signal pad is electrically isolated from a source of potential level, and the control signal is fixed to the first level.
