摘要: A mold is provided for use with a wheel-type blow mold machine, the mold being one of a plurality of molds for locating in a circular pattern on a wheel of the blow-mold machine and having a longitudinal direction for aligning tangentially with a circumferential direction of the mold wheel and a transverse direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction. The mold has a first part and a second part. The first part has a first molding portion with a longitudinal end in the longitudinal direction of the mold and a first end portion adjoining the first molding portion at the longitudinal end of the first molding portion and having a free edge opposite the first molding portion, the free edge being non-parallel to the longitudinal direction and the transverse direction. The first part also has an outer cooling circuit located in the first end portion, and an inner cooling circuit located in the first end portion at a different location in the transverse direction than the outer cooling circuit. The inner cooling circuit is a split tube with a first passage of the split tube being for directing a cooling fluid to the first end portion and a second passage of the split tube being for directing the cooling fluid from the first end portion. The second part is separable from the first part and has a second molding portion.

摘要: There is provided an absorbent composition for water-based liquids, wherein dusting normally associated with handling of powdered absorbent materials is significantly reduced. The composition can be an animal litter, such as cat litter. The composition is formed by mixing a filler with a de-dusting agent and spraying an aqueous slurry of a deodorizing agent onto the mixture. The mixture is then added to a water absorbing material such as clay to uniformly mix the deodorizing agent with the water absorbing material.

摘要: Disclosed herein are systems, methods, and computer-readable storage media for generating a gift code. The system receives an indication from a first user identifying a closed loop card, receives a confirmation of an amount of money in an account associated with the closed loop card, offers to purchase the closed loop card at an amount less than the amount of money in the account associated with the closed loop card, and upon acceptance of the offer, deactivates the closed loop card. The system then offers to sell the amount of money at a discount rate to a second user, receives acceptance of the offer to sell the amount of money at the discount rate, and associates a gift code with the amount of money for use by the second user. Gift codes can have no expiration date. A multi-process secure gateway can confirm the amount of money.

摘要: Disclosed herein are systems, methods, and computer-readable storage media for redeeming a closed loop card/code funded with an amount of money. The system receives from a merchant point of sale an indication of use of a closed loop card/code not issued by the merchant and presented by a consumer, queries and receives a confirmation of an amount of money in an account associated with the closed loop card/code, presents the consumer with an offer to buy the closed loop card/code at a discount price, and upon accepting the offer, closes out the closed loop card/code and pays the discount price to the consumer. Paying the discount price can include applying the discount price to a purchase by the consumer at the merchant. The merchant can provide cash back to the consumer for excess value of the discount price over the consumer's purchase. Merchants can apply more than the discount price.

摘要: A fingerprint sensor package includes a flat surface having a dielectric protective coating protecting a sensing element of a fingerprint sensor and an electrically conductive bezel that discharges electrostatic discharge (ESD). Both the protective coating and the bezel can be colored to have desired colors. Accordingly, the flat surface can be colored as desired enhancing the attractiveness for consumer applications. Further, light emitting diodes are integrated into the fingerprint sensor package providing a visual feedback to the user that the user's fingerprint has been successfully sensed. Further, the fingerprint sensor package is formed using a high volume low cost assembly technique.

摘要: A sample of blood containing CTCs, or other cells of interest, is stained with fluorescent markers for image analysis and scanned to identify the presence and location within the cartridge of target cells or subcellular elements. A sample containing desired target cells or subcellular elements is then further processed, in part by photobleaching the sample, so that those same targets may be re-analyzed with additional biomarkers conjugated to the same or different fluorochromes using the same imaging criteria that were used for the initial analysis. The present invention has applications with targets such as circulating epithelial, cells, circulating tumor cells, circulating endothelial cells, leukocytes, lymphocyte subsets, cells containing an organelle or receptor of interest, cellular debris, disrupted cells and their debris, or any other formed element that might be captured and imaged. The invention provides a means to further interrogate individual targets of interest, especially when coupled with genetic analysis such as FISH.
