    摘要: A method of manufacturing a magnetic recording medium such as for a magnetic disc, in which a magnetic layer comprising a Co-based alloy is formed on a carbon substrate and a heat treatment is applied at a temperature of 250.degree. to 1450.degree. C. to improve the coercive force. Further, the squareness ratio is improved by applying the heat treatment under a magnetic field. Greater coercive force can be obtained by forming a Cr underlayer prior to the formation of the magnetic layer. Increased recording density of the magnetic recording medium can be realized by improving the coercive force and the squareness ratio in this way.

    摘要: An object of the present invention is to obtain a magnetic disk which has a high coercive force. It has a constitution in which, at first, a Cr under layer, a magnetic layer of a Co alloy, and a protective layer, a Zr layer for example, are formed in order on a substrate, and it is heat-processed at a temperature of higher than 250.degree. C. The Zr layer is changed to an oxide layer, etc. by the heating process and becomes a layer which functions as a protective layer, and on the other hand, a chemical compound of Zr and a non-magnetic element in the magnetic layer of a Co alloy, Cr for example, is not generated, so that the segregation of Cr into the crystalline grain boundaries of the magnetic layer of a Co alloy is more effectively expedited. Because of this, since magnetic interactions between the crystalline grains in the magnetic layer of a Co alloy are weakened, the disks having high coercive force can be obtained.

    摘要: When a fuel injection valve is mounted on an engine, a distance between a core and an armature during non-energization of a coil can be prevented from becoming narrow. The coil is arranged inside the core, and a body is fixedly secured at its one end to an end of the core. A housing is arranged outside the coil with its one end abutting a cylinder head. A cap is arranged at the other end of the housing, and abuts at its side opposite to the housing with a fastening unit. The armature is arranged for reciprocation inside the body, and is magnetically attracted to the magnetized core. A gap is formed between the housing and the body, with the cap and the core being fixed to each other, and upon mounting the valve on the engine, the housing and the fastening unit abut the cylinder head and the cap, respectively.

    摘要: An intake-air control device for an internal combustion engine in which a sensor member can be positioned further accurately is provided. A throttle position sensor includes magnetic field generating means and a magnetic field detecting assembly. The magnetic field detecting assembly includes a plurality of terminal leads, a resin holder secured on the plurality of terminal leads, a sensor member generating a sensor output, and a resin mold body including the plurality of terminal leads, the holder, and the sensor member insert-molded. The resin holder includes a supporting surface which is located on a plane intersecting substantially perpendicularly to an axial line of a throttle shaft, and the sensor member includes a resin mold coat having first and second main surfaces opposing substantially in parallel to each other. The sensor member is held in the resin mold body with the first main surface of the resin mold coat in contact with the supporting surface.

    摘要: A high-pressure fuel pump of a simple construction is capable of distributing the position of contact between a tappet and a cam so as to improve durability of the tappet without causing seizure of a piston. A cylinder is arranged in a housing, and the piston is received in the cylinder for sliding reciprocation so that fuel is sucked into the cylinder and pressurized by the piston. The tappet is arranged inside one end of the housing for reciprocation, and contacts the cam, which rotates with a camshaft of an engine, so as transmit a driving force of the engine to the piston. A sleeve is arranged between the tappet and the housing, and clearance fitted to an outer peripheral surface of the tappet and an inner peripheral surface of the housing. The tappet is caused to rotate on its own axis by a frictional force generated between the cam and the tappet.

    摘要: Disclosed is an electromagnetic valve in which a force due to a working fluid from an inflow hole acting perpendicularly with respect to the axis of a shut-off valve is reduced to thereby reduce the sliding resistance of the shut-off valve. An electromagnetic valve according to the present invention includes: a housing (10) having an inflow hole (11), an inner flow path (12), and a discharge hole (13); a valve seat (15) secured in position inside the housing (10); a shut-off valve (16) adapted to abut one surface of the valve seat (15) to shut off the working fluid flowing into the inner flow path (12) through the inflow hole (11); and a pressure regulating valve (17) provided coaxially with the shut-off valve (16) and adapted to control, through adjustment of the dimensions of a gap between itself and the other surface of the valve seat (15), the amount of working fluid flowing to the exterior of the housing (10) through the discharge hole (13). In the electromagnetic valve, the housing (10) is equipped with a whirling member for causing the working fluid having flowed into the inner flow path (12) through the inflow hole (11) to whirl in one direction.

    摘要: The object of the present invention is to provide an electromagnetic valve for a variable discharge fuel supply apparatus with improved relief property and high-responsiveness, a small electromagnetic valve, reduced electric current consumption and increased responsiveness, wherein the valve seat has a valve seating surface present in a flat surface facing the direction of movement of the valve at substantially right angle, and the valve is provided with a flow path formed within the valve and a substantially ring-shaped flat landing surface that encircles the flow path within the valve and closes the flow path by coming into contact with the valve seating surface. The electromagnetic valve may be made to cause the outside of the valve to serve as a high pressure side and the flow path within the valve, as a low pressure side, and to cause both the landing surface of the valve and the valve seating surface of the valve seat to be in ring-shaped so that the valve and the valve seat come into contact only through the space between the outer boundary of the landing surface of the valve and the inner boundary of the valve seating surface of the valve seat. Further, the flow path may be formed in a place where it passes the vicinity of said electromagnetic solenoids at the downstream section of the valve. In addition, the flow path within the valve may extend piercing the valve to reach as far as the vicinity of the solenoid coils, and may be connected to the fuel flow path that is formed in the space between the valve outer boundary and the valve holder inner boundary and linked to the low pressure side, and the valve seat having the valve seating surface may be a part formed separately from the valve holder instead of the one united to the valve holder.

    摘要: An electromagnetic valve with improved performance includes a solenoid coil 4, and a rod arranged on an axis of the solenoid coil 4 for movement in an axial direction thereof. A plunger 18 is fixedly attached to an intermediate portion of the rod. A core 6 is arranged at one side of the rod so as to surround it and operated to attract the plunger upon energization of the solenoid coil. A yoke 7 is arranged at the other side of the plunger so as to surround it. A pair of bearings 9a, 9b formed of a non-magnetic substance are arranged at opposite sides of the plunger, respectively, for movably supporting the rod at an outer peripheral surface thereof by clearance fit. The pair of bearings are clearance fitted to an inner peripheral surface of the core or to an inner peripheral surface of the yoke.
