Abstract: A use of a low specific gravity PET composite material that is suitable for manufacturing a tableware article by injection molding is provided. The tableware article provides a balance between aesthetic appearance and food safety and can be used in place of melamine tableware. The low specific gravity PET composite material includes 66.5-96.3 wt % of PET, 0-20 wt % of PBT, 3-10 wt % of an inorganic filler, 0.1-0.5 wt % of an antioxidant, 0.1-1 wt % of a processing aid, and 0.5-2 wt % of a nucleating agent, and the total amount of all components is 100 wt %.

Abstract: A matte synthetic paper is a biaxially oriented polypropylene synthetic paper having a thickness of 25 to 300 μm, and includes a printing surface layer as an outermost paper layer. Moreover, by adding a mist flour or a thermoplastic elastomer, the haze and gloss of the printing surface layer can be improved. According to Tappi T480, the printing surface layer having gloss of 15 to 50% is suitable to be printing paper.

Abstract: A modified polyester resin composition comprises a combination of a PET polyester, a PCT polyester, a CHDM modified copolyester comprising PCTA, PCTG or PETG, and a modified polymer at least comprising TPU or EPDM, wherein the modified polymer accounts for 3-25 wt % and the rest accounts for 97-75 wt %, based on the total weight of the resin; and the modified polyester resin composition is suited for use in a halogen-free, heavy metal-free, and volatile organic compound-free polyester-based plastic floor tile excellent in higher resistance to wear and tear, better tensile strength, more preferable resistance to both lit cigarette e and solvents, and particularly being friendliness to environment and not hazardous to health.

Abstract: A PBT composite material having high heat resistance and high gloss for a vehicle mirror and a method for preparing the same are provided. The PBT composite material includes 57.2-88.9 wt % of PBT, 5-20 wt % of PET, 5-20 wt % of calcium silicate, 0-10 wt % of coupling agent-modified talc, 0.1-0.3 wt % of an antioxidant, 0.5-1.5 wt % of a flowing aid and 0.5-1.0 wt % of a nucleating agent. In the preparing method, the above components are placed into an extruding machine to perform a melt plasticization, and a molten material extruded by a die head of the extruding machine is water-cooled and stretched into a stripe to be granulated. The resulting PBT composite material has an excellent heat resistance and a good surface gloss and is suitable for manufacturing a high heat-resistant and high gloss vehicle mirror.
