    摘要: An endoscope apparatus includes an illumination apparatus that applies first and second narrow-band light having different peak wavelengths to a subject, an imaging device that acquires image light from the subject with pixels to generate an acquisition image signal, and an image processing circuit. The image processing circuit includes a storage that has stored assumed subject types including information about a wavelength range of assumed subjects, and a subject type decision circuit that decides an assumed subject type for part of the pixels based on a first image signal about the first narrow-band light, a second image signal about the second narrow-band light, and the assumed subject types. The image processing circuit constructs a display image signal based on the acquisition image signal and decided assumed subject type.

    摘要: An observation apparatus includes an imager, a light source unit, an image processor and a light intensity adjusting section. The imager includes types of elements which generate a first signal when the elements receive light included in a sensitivity region. The light source unit includes light sources to emit narrow spectrum light, wavelengths of the light being different from one another and being set so that at least one of the wavelengths is included in each of the sensitivity regions. The image processor generates display data indicating a color image on the basis of the image data. The light intensity adjusting section separately adjusts respective light intensity of the light sources.

    摘要: A light source apparatus includes a light conversion unit converting primary light into secondary light. The light conversion unit includes a light conversion member, a holder and a reflection member. The holder includes an incidence portion through which the primary light enters and an exit portion through which at least part of the secondary light exits in a direction crossing an optical axis of the primary light. The light conversion member is arranged on the optical axis of the primary light. Part of the secondary light allowed to exit from the light conversion member in a direction different from a direction toward the exit portion is reflected by the reflection member and exited from the exit portion. The ratio of reentering to the light conversion member is reduced.

    摘要: An endoscope light source device includes a light source to emit light, and a speckle reduction member to scatter the light. The reduction member has a surface including thickness variation to provide the light with an optical path difference. The device also includes a drive to move the reduction member, and a lens to condense the light passed through the reduction member onto a light guide of an endoscope. The surface of the reduction member has inclination of an average inclination angle. The average inclination angle is determined so that a light quantity loss rate of the entering light into the light guide by scattering of the reduction member and refraction of the lens has a positive value equal to or smaller than an effective allowable loss rate.

    摘要: A wavelength converting unit includes: an incident portion configured to be connected to an excited-light emitting end of a excited-light source, and on which excited light emitted from the excited-light source is made incident; a wavelength converting member configured to convert the excited light into wavelength-converted light of a desired wavelength; a light transmitting member configured to transmit the excited light and the wavelength-converted light; a reflector configured to reflect at least part of the wavelength-converted light; and an emitting portion configured to emit at least part of the at least part of the wavelength-converted light reflected by the reflector to outside. At least part of the light transmitting member is continuously formed to extend from the incident portion to the emitting portion, and part of an external surface of the light transmitting member has the reflector.
