    摘要: The present invention relates to aqueous polyurethane coating compositions wherein the binder contains a) a polyol component, which is soluble or dispersible in water and is the reaction product of a polyisocyanate component containing 50 to 100 wt. % of 4,4'-diisocyanatodicyclohexylmethane, a polyol component containing one or more polyether polyols and having an OH number of 25 to 350 mg KOH/g solids and an isocyanate-reactive component containing at least one group capable of salt formation and b) a polyisocyanate component, which is soluble or dispersible in water, has blocked isocyanate groups and is the reaction product of a polyisocyanate having an isocyanurate group content of 2 to 30 wt. %, a reversible, monofunctional blocking agent for isocyanate groups, a nonionic hydrophilic component and a stabilizing component which has 1 to 2 hydrazide groups and a molecular weight of 70 to 300, wherein the equivalent ratio of blocked isocyanate groups of component b) to hydroxyl groups of component a) is at least 0.8:1. The present invention also relates to the use of the binders for coating any glass surfaces, especially glass bottles.

    摘要: Suspensions of solid polyisocyanates inactivated on the surface of adduct formation in organic, isocyanate reactive compounds as continuous phase, which suspensions are stable in storage at room temperature and heat curable and optionally contain auxiliary agents and additives, the continuous phase containing at least 10% by weight of ether group- and ester group-containing polyhydroxyl compounds having an (average) hydroxyl functionality of from 0.5 to 3 and an (average) hydroxyl number of from 15 to 150 constituting esterification products of (i) polyether polyols having an (average) hydroxyl functionality of from 3 to 8 and an (average) hydroxyl number of from 200 to 1000 with (ii) from 40 to 90 equivalents percent of inorganic monocarboxylic acids and the use of these suspensions for the production of coatings, adhesives or sealing compounds, in particular as underseal and doorseal compounds for motor vehicles.

    摘要: Water-dilutable binders for water-dilutable lacquers, coating compositions or sealing compounds consist essentially of a mixture of 5 to 40 parts by weight of a crosslinker resin and 60 to 95 parts by weight of a copolymer containing carboxyl groups or acid anhydride groups or both and further containing hydroxyl groups, and wherein the carboxyl or acid anhydride groups have been at least partially converted into carboxylate groups to the degree necessary to provide solubility or dispersibility of the binder in water and said copolymer is obtained by copolymerizing an alpha, beta-unsaturated carboxylic acid, a hydroxyalkyl acrylate or methacrylate, an olefinic monomer, a hydroxy-free acrylate or methacrylate and, optionally other mono-or polyunsaturated monomer, and wherein at least 30% of the hydroxyl groups of the copolymer are modified by esterification with a lactone.

    摘要: Aqueous polymer dispersions useful for coating substrates are prepared by polymerization of olefinically unsaturated monomers in aqueous medium in the presence of radical formers and hydrophilically modified, urethane-group-containing emulsifiers having an average molecular weight below 30,000, wherein the urethane-group-containing emulsifiers are oligourethanes having a branched molecular structure which(i) are produced from organic polyisocyanates and organic compounds containing isocyanate-reactive groups with the reactants containing hydrophilic groups or groups convertible into hydrophilic groups and which are monofunctional or difunctional to isocyanate addition reaction, with the molar ratio of monofunctional hydrophilic components to the corresponding difunctional components being at least 2:1, and which(ii) have a content of chemically incorporated hydrophilic groups sufficient to impart the oligourethane solubility or dispersibility in water, with the proviso that, on a statistical average, at least 2.2 terminally incorporated hydrophilic groups are present per molecule.
